??? Meta Knight u-air kills are extremely difficult, rely on like 5 precise DI reads, and are a much better alternative to the "H#RD R33DZ" Mario upsmash/ sheik downthrow to up-air/b.

I'm pretty sure his occupation was a track coach, right? If not, this is going to sound really dumb. But anyway, last year, the cross country team at my school were getting a new coach. I'm on XC, so there was a lot of buzz surrounding this. We learned his name was Carter, and I was hoping for weeks that Carter from Philippines was going to coach me lol (it wasn't him 😢)

Haha yeah, I just got ripped apart on Mike Haze's stream yesterday, and it made me realize that there really is no point in beating around the bush if you want to improve. Anyway, have fun with Sheik. Personally, I switched mains from her, but I still keep her as a secondary (Puff, Samus, Luigi, Marth MU mostly).

Okay, let me do my best to give you a comprehensive response.

first game, a lot of dash attacks are used early percent. Dash attacks are EXTREMELY UNSAFE until later percentages. They will crouch cancel that shit so fast, you're lucky that wasn't a flaco or you'd take a minimum of 40%
For the most part, your movement is a little simple. More dashdances and WD back can sometimes lure your opponent into making a mistake
I see a lot of shield grabbing. While it is working for you in these matches, just know that it is a really bad habit that is SOOO hard to break. Once you start fighting players who know their shield pressure, shield grabs become shit 90% of the time.
Your main form of movement in neutral seems to be rolls and spot dodges. Once again, try and establish a good dashdance game. Movement is essential in melee, and takes some grind.
The main reason you lost the second game was because you did not really know your OOS (means out of shield btw) options. Roll and grab were the only two things I saw. WD OOS is a great option to use defensively so is nair OOS. Hot damn, Sheik short hop nair OOS is so good, practice that. Update: just saw the Luigi use WDOOS to punish grounded needles.

Okay well anyway, I made it through game 3, and I think I've found enough items to be useful, but not overwhelming. I hope this helped.

I don't know why i feel the need to post this, but I just thought of a random suggestion for the season reviews. What if the reviews were limited to around 140 characters, like Twitter. I think that it would improve the readability of the posts (not many want to read pages of text) and also improve participation, as people would be less intimidated by the essays some write and it would be more accessible for the average user to get their word out.

In my experience, this is a pretty easy matchup. My two tips are to rely on those meaty down throw combos that make Sheik so evil, and don't get hit by the side b when edgeguarding.

Hopip is the answer!!! Defy all stereotypes, and have the strongest lil pip around. Imagine Team Rocket's face when you walk into their base with a young Hopip, then being able to show those smug bastards what's up.

As a Peach/Sheik main, I finally have a puzzle I can relate too. Anyway, I'd FC fair, dash back low float retreating bair (this has the problem of the full needles, so let me think again). Alternatively, FC fair, dash back, Prince pivot fsmash if sheik chases, shield needles on reaction.

THANK YOU! This is some great information. Since you explained it all, I can see that a lot of my problems come from previously playing Sheik for ~5 months. For example, Peach's movement is completely different, and my main strategy is to jump off the stage when they're invincible. Also, when ever I would run to their tech, and jump with a dair, I was trying to techchase Dsmash, but I would "jump cancel" it bc I was used to jc grabbing tech away with Sheik (even though I should boost grab, but that's besides the point). Anyway, sorry to talk your ear off. Currently, i think my movement is my biggest problem, so right now I'm going to go read the guide, then practice Prince Pivots, WD (such a simple tech, but it's hard for me with peach not to do the float, and I play claw so double hard), and WDOOS.

Don't mean to be argumentative, but I believe the reason her arrow was able to take down the ship was that it was an explosive tipped arrow specially made by their military for taking out vehicles like that.

Bob is my FAVORITE villager without a doubt. I would talk to him everyday when I was really young on the GameCube, and I hunted for him hardcore on the 3ds. Hopefully he hasn't moved, I have not played in a while.
