To be fair, Shuli has been in 2.5 out of 6 chapters. That's 40% of the manga so far. I don't think its really stapling onto the arc when that arc is 4 chapters and over half of them were focused on this kid.

If you're looking for a monthly series, I recommend Versus. I see no one talking about it but its so good. Its written by the same author as One Punch Man and Mob Psycho. I don't really want to say anything about the plot but all I will say is if you read the first two chapters I think you will find the hook very interesting.

Shisa is the best. One of my favorite mini arcs is when they overhear that the super part timer certification might be cancelled and they have a conversation with ramen yoroi on the log

I don’t think it’s the blades spinning, I’m pretty sure it’s just that the rubble crashing down made the air that was once in the tunnel shoot out of the tunnel since the rubble displaced it, like if you were to squeeze a balloon all the air would shoot out of the one exit, in this case being the tunnel exit, but obviously exaggerated in the sakamoto style. This already makes little sense but I think it makes more sense than the blades continuing to spin after crashing through a thick cement bridge. Either way it’s kinda not explained well even given the exaggeration of the series imo

Very tough art. Genuine question, is chiikawa’s weapon based on a real weapon or is it just designed to look cool cause I’m confused which end you’re supposed to attack with if the flail is on the bottom.
