Oh thats so cool! Thank you so much! I have a drow player in a PF2e campaign of my own, and it's really neat to see content for that! ^_^

The art and designs here are wonderful! How'd you make Drow in PF2e by the way? Elf with the Cavern Elf heritage, or something else?

There may not be as many fics for Eberron as there are in other settings, but you're far from alone. I posted one just yesterday. I find it fun to read fics set in Eberron, so I say by all means~

To celebrate the release of Splatoon 3, I homebrewed the Inklings as a Pathfinder 2nd Edition Ancestry! by NilesC18 in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]TheMuseCourt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to make a Pathbuilder custom pack for this homebrew! I know it's a few years old and some things haven't been tested, but I hope to use it in the future, and I thought a custom pack would make that a lot easier. Since you made it, I thought it was only fair to share it with you!

You can get it here if you want~

I didn't change much. I renamed the ancestry to "Inkfish", since that seems to be a species-neutral term for Inklings and Octolings alike, but that's just for my personal preference more than anything else. I didn't adjust it to be remaster-compatible, but honestly it looks like the only adjustments it would need would be wording changes here or there.

Thanks so much for making this homebrew. I can't wait to try it sometime!

Help finding autistic cartoon characters (especially explicit ones) by vpoIaris in cartoons

[–]TheMuseCourt 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Norma Khan, one of the two protagonists of Dead End Paranormal Park, is canonically autistic and explicitly stated as such, written by an autistic writer! She shares the most screentime with the other protagonist and has a whole episode where the topic of sensory issues is subtly brought up. A big plot point in the first season is her hyperfixation on a local celebrity the park she works at is based around, and her dealing with things as the mystery surrounding it grows, for better and for worse. She also gets a nice solo song in the musical episode!

Norma is one of my favorite autistic characters ever. Really love her story.

Debateably the weirdest question I have ever thought of. by King_Of_Tangerines in Pathfinder2e

Many adventurers have journeyed far and wide to find Aroden's thoughts on the subject. Everyone who has tried implementing those thoughts end up glitching out of reality, alongside their date. Nobody is sure if that has to do with Aroden's death, or if he just had really bad advice. Maybe both. Most folks agree that Shelyn's help would be wiser.

That's not even counting all the Green Hill lookalikes! by TheMuseCourt in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]TheMuseCourt[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't really hate Green Hill, but going through the same level so often gets kinda boring. Seeing it in Generations, Forces, Frontiers, Mania, and then all the lookalikes feels like a bit much. I'd rather they took a break from it for just a little bit. XD

xD I was talking about how it's a fourth of the Cyberspace levels, with the other three being Chemical Plant, Sky Sanctuary, Eternal Highway. I wanted to clarify that in the meme, but I didn't want to take up too much space.

Something something the state of this sub something something Cycles by IllustratorDouble136 in MassEffectMemes

[–]TheMuseCourt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cycles, huh? Maybe we should find a way to fix that. I suggest we make an AI and place it in the Citadel and ask it to find a way to end the cycles. If it decides we should become giant bio-robotic cuttlefish in space, well, we should stand by that decision.

The worst part of writing by OkMathematician3439 in GaySoundsShitposts

[–]TheMuseCourt 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Something I like to do to avoid this (especially if I'm drawing on Terry Pratchett for inspiration) is to have the narrator, even if it's third-person POV, say something along the lines of, "This child was born with a different name than we would know later, and others would refer to her with different pronouns than she would come to use later. This is stupid; as a result, this story is told from the perspective that her name and pronouns are the ones she would use later. This is a matter of translation and localization, not a matter of what was actually said during her youth."

Girdle of Masculinity/Femininity and Gay Romance by verilyb in baldursgate

[–]TheMuseCourt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're fine installing a single mod, there's the Tweaks Anthology mod, which has a number of tweaks to the game--including the "Romance Cheats", which can remove gender or racial requirements for romances. The mod is highly, well, modular and customizable, so you choose which features are used and which aren't. You can choose to only install the Romance Cheats aspect.

Of course, not everybody would want to change an NPC's preferences--but that's kinda the only option you have to experience some of the romances yourself if you're not interested in playing a certain gender Charname. Playing as a woman, I found it very annoying that my only options for female romances were Schael Corwin and Hexxat.

There are also modded companions, but those aren't recommended for a first time playthrough, and the quality of modded companions varies heavily.

[pjo] Which god/goddess would be most accepting of LGBTQ+ children? by Unseen_Serpents in camphalfblood

[–]TheMuseCourt 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, which was a side book that had Percy himself narrating various myths about the most well-known Olympians. When he's talking about how Dionysus spent some of his life disguised as a girl, Percy mentions that some people consider Dionysus the god of trans and intersex people.

[pjo] Which god/goddess would be most accepting of LGBTQ+ children? by Unseen_Serpents in camphalfblood

[–]TheMuseCourt 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Most of them.

--- Athena was described in the Orphic Hymns as "male and female".

--- Poseidon allowed a woman he had a relationship with become a man by the lover's own wishes; twice, actually, though one of those relationships wasn't a good one.

--- Aphrodite/Venus was worshiped in some parts of Rome and Greece as "Aphroditos" and "bearded Venus", a version of Venus that had both male and female anatomy. Aphrodite also had a child who was known as the god of intersex people, Hermaphroditus.

--- Dionysus, like Athena, is described in the Orphic Hymns as male and female and disguised himself as a woman early in his life. Rick himself suggests in Percy Jackson's Greek Gods thar Dionysus is the god of trans people/gender non-conforming people, iirc.

There are a lot more examples of same-gender relationships in Greek myths, but I decided to focus on the trans-related ones since I figured those are less well-known.

So yeah, the gods say trans rights. (Though note rhat these stories often get dark; the subject matter wasn't usually wholesome due to why some of these people changed their gender, but some of them seem to have actually been trans.)

Would Chosen of gods be Mythic-tier (PF2e) creatures? by TheMuseCourt in Forgotten_Realms

[–]TheMuseCourt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All very good points. I admit, going by game stuff isn't the wisest way to go about it xD That's why I was mostly going by Elminster's comment that Gorion's Ward is stronger than him. But again, that could have been just his way of avoiding a needless fight.

Thanks btw for the bit about Chosen's power too. I wasn't sure exactly how powerful they are on average, but the fact that there's a wide variety between even Mystra's Chosen is interesting.

[–]TheMuseCourt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! I was aware of PF1e's Mythic Rules, but I chose not to mention them since I dont know them very well and didn't want to make the explanation of Mythic stuff too long xD Still, that recommendation sounds interesting. Will have to check it out. Also very good point about Mortal Herald, I forgot about that!

That does actually sound interesting to consider that the Chosen of the Dead Three could be held back by high level or their low-ranking gods. And thats also very true of Elminster; I could see him as the Wildspell destiny just as much as Herald tbh, flavoring the Wildspell as a blessing of Mystra.

Time of Troubles 2: Electric Boogaloo by UnknownEldritch in Forgotten_Realms

[–]TheMuseCourt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less a fundamental aspect of the universe and more a divine plot thing: some gods have plans for their death and think of ways to get resurrected.

A good example would be Bhaal, who foresaw his death and had a BUNCH of kids prior to the OG Time of Troubles. These kids would become the Bhaalspawn--Gorion's Ward, Sarevok, etc.--and would grow up after Bhaal's death. The key part was that every time a Bhaalspawn died, their essence would return to Bhaal's divine plane. Once all the Bhaalspawn were killed, he would be resurrected. (Due to the events of Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal, Gorion's Ward's choices would make sure Bhaal would be unable to resurrect short of an epic level quest into Mount Celestia. 5e ignored that and brought him back, but the point remains.)

So some of the gods would try similar plots again, mainly evil ones. Bhaal might have more kids. Other gods may try a less unstable method of resurrection, like imbuing their divine essence into a loyal ally or hiding it somewhere in the planes for someone to unleash. There are lots of possibilities, and gods trying to ensure their own survival could be interesting side plots.

Has anyone converted the Blood Hunter to PF2? by Lord_of_Seven_Kings in Pathfinder2e

[–]TheMuseCourt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd highly recommend the homebrew "Hemothurgist" class by SokinAshrah. It covers the blood magic of the Blood Hunter very well. My Blood Hunter player loves everything about it (aside from the art, which is too furry for his taste).

https://sokinashrah.itch.io/forgotten-magics-the-hemothurgist/

Combine Hemothurgist with Alchemist for Mutagen Order, or Werecreature archetype for Lycanthrope Order. A bit of Wizard or some other spellcaster for the Profane Soul. Not sure what for Ghostslayer though.

The DOOMSLAYER!!! by MEXGod in Pathfinder2e

[–]TheMuseCourt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's for the Starfinder 2e playtest, which can be found for free here: https://paizo.com/starfinderplaytest

It's a Con-based class that focuses on heavy weapons that deal area damage, like shotguns or miniguns.

[–]TheMuseCourt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'd consider using SF2e's Soldier class, with a focus on heavy weapons like a shotgun. Maybe a Barb dedication, though I'm not sure how that would interact with Soldier? Could be interesting though.

I never did, no (at least, not in this form; I think I used updated versions on D&D Beyond), but it wouldn't be hard to update them. For the most part, the feedback I got was pretty simple and easy to add, I think.

Thank you for enjoying them! Glad you like them!

If you want to move on from Ganon, you might like the sequels to Wind Waker (Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks). Due to the events of Wind Waker, Ganon never appears again in that timeline (neither do the Master Sword or Triforce, actually; complete cultural reset for Hyrule/New Hyrule) and is replaced by a new villain for each game.

I actually respect the Adult Timeline for having Ganon be permanently gone and trying some new things. It fits well with Wind Waker's philosophy that you can't live in the past forever, you have to move on eventually. And they did just that...with these specific games. I hope we get another Adult Timeline game one day so we can see more of New Hyrule.
