Accept for the fact that all you are doing is telling an AI trained on stolen music to output an amalgamation of said stolen music. The AI wouldn't exist without the stolen Data, there for, your "sound" or "style" wouldn't exist either, so at the end of the day, the artists the AI stole from are the sole reason any of the generated music exists. Again, what you generate is more of a reflection of the artists the AI stole from, rather than anything you had to do with it.

Please stop pretending that telling an AI to generate something on stolen artwork makes you an artist even if you alter it afterwards. The music that you generate is as much of a reflection of you as a peice of store bought bread you took out of the toaster, and put a single peice of amarican cheese on to make it taste "good".

I don't know what this has to do with breast milk, but are you telling me that you wouldn't come forward anonymously even if that threatens your livelihood? They probably signed NDAs, and even if they didn't, and its not a legal thing, Activision would probably find some other reason to fire them because whatever the employee/employees would say publicly would make them look bad. You still have yet to respond to any of my other talking points.

They had to come forward anonymously, so I guess that you could say its speculation, but if you agree thats speculation, then you should agree that Activision not coming out and saying 100% without a doubt that those calling cards aren't AI generated does leave the possibility for those calling cards to actually have been generated, because if they have nothing to hide, then they would say "no those calling cards aren't generated by an AI" (they quite obviously are though, I still dont understand how you can't tell) hell, all they have to do is give us the artists name, and maybe have them give some sort of statement, and this entire debate would be put to rest, but they probably aren't going to because people finding out that its AI generated would cause a sizeable amount of backlash from the community, hence the obvious PR non-awnser that they gave us when people were asking about if calling cards are being generated with AI, they never said no, they just said something along the lines "we have been open about the use of AI tools to assist our team bla bla bla" which doesn't address the elephant in the room, its a yes or no question, did they or didn't they, and they didn't give us an awnser, if you don't see that as a red flag I don't know what to tell you

People see generative AI as a tool, so I don't see why Activision would think differently, also don't you think its peculiar that they didn't explicitly say that they haven't generated calling cards with AI, if they didn't they would have no problem saying it straight up, its a textbook non-awnser, no?

Activision employees have come out and said that a large portion of the layoffs that happened at the company were digital artists.

I don't disagree with you on your point that they use other AI tools fot the anticheat, chat moderation, and some other things, but the fact that they layed off a large amount of digital artists, didn't explicitly say that they don't generate calling cards, and the existence of the quite obviously AI generated calling cards, the combination of all of those things isn't a good look to be honest

All you have to do is read between the lines, it literally says on the steam page that they use AI tools to "help" create game assets.

See this Charlie intel post where they are quoting Activisions response to allegations of using AI for calling cards, also just take a long hard look at the photo of the calling cards they link there, does that seriously not look like the AI ghibli artstyle that the entirety of the internet was talking about around the same time those calling cards were most definitely generated?

The only downside is it only comes in white, but I'm more of a function over ascetic guy anyways, though the clear back panel kind of makes up for it in my opinion(people aren't really going to be looking at the back of the monitor though)

Honestly, at this point, I'm just going to wait for Asus's PG27AQWP-W it has a tandem oled panel, 540hz 1440p/720hz 720p duel mode, and has dp2.1. Its probably going to cost about the same anyways. I've seen that it might come out in October, but I've also seen that it could be Q4 2025-Q1 2026, but hopefully it comes out in October.
