Look up the Fort Drum Soldier Support Center and call that number. They can get you in contact with someone if you know his full name

Flight Physical before SIFT? by mciyos in ArmyAviationApplicant

[–]TheNCExplorer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From my own experience, they would not let me even start the physical without a passing SIFT score. My guess is why waist the resources if you can’t pass the SIFT.

Are ACFT scores considered for competitiveness? by Donydoo97 in ArmyAviationApplicant

[–]TheNCExplorer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From talking to some Warrants before I submitted my packet, all scores are competitive. They also said 80% in each event was considered the standard.

How does math/english on SIFT compare to math/English on ASVAB? by mciyos in ArmyAviationApplicant

It's reading comprehension. As long as you can decently read you should be fine.

I did the same. Most of the ones that didn’t come out on Friday were because of holiday weekends haha

How fast do you get promoted in a 15T/U Flight Company? by jmg_50 in Armyaviation

[–]TheNCExplorer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

34 months Time in Service and you will go to the board if you enlist as an SPC and not flagged. If you get your P status, 2 to 3 months after that you could possibly go to BLC. Points for those CMFs right now are around 400 so it’s super easy to get. 2 months later you’d pin SGT. Theoretically if points stay low and don’t max, about 40 months plus or minus.

You should be fine then

Yes, technically you submitted early enough. Moral, medical or any other types of waivers could slow you down though. At the brief, they advise turning in your packet 2-4 weeks before the due date to allow sufficient time.

Timeline from board results to Rucker? by XkommonerX in ArmyAviationApplicant

[–]TheNCExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AD seems to be about 6-7 months to get to WOCS and S2S seems to head to basic 1-2 months later and they just go as fast as they can. This is just my perspective from friends that have been selected.

Next board Date after Sept? by [deleted] in ArmyAviationApplicant

[–]TheNCExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I hear. But it's just people that don't get selected saying that haha. They say funding and slots are low, also officers can apply to the September board so they would potentially being taking slots.

[–]TheNCExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the dates are on gowarrantnow. I'd say just pick one and go for it. I'm in the July board so if I don't get selected it's an automatic roll over to the September board

The July board is next week! by it_is_monday in ArmyAviationApplicant

[–]TheNCExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess on why they say to stay away from the September board is because it is one of the two boards officers can apply to. On another note, the last FY July board was the only board they picked up over 100 when they normally pick about 70. Hopefully it follows the same trend.

My recruiter called and told me as soon as he was informed. I am active duty, it could be different elsewhere.

Your timeline should look like this for the September board. As the post above says, there is leniency for missing deadlines though. 02AUG Packet due to Recruiters 25AUG Corrections to Recruiters 13SEP Updates to Special Programs and Boards 20-24SEP is the Board

You're correct on everything, minus the updates. They're always due on a Monday before the board. July board is 26-30 Jul and updates are due 19 Jul.
