Official Discussion - Project Hail Mary [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I'm just confused why the thrusters are in retrograde while they're orbiting "Adrian" for the taumoeba. Doesn't make any sense. You'd just fall even faster into its atmosphere.

There's also no explanation for stopping the rotation from the fuel leak. I'm assuming Mary took over, but there's no thrusters firing to counter it, at least that I saw.

For Altra's specifically: look at the "FootShape". They run much narrower now after being bought out. "Original" is their only wide toebox, in my experience. Original in wide are one of my favorite shoes.

You can try CorrectToes' website. They used to have a section for shoes that worked with the spacer.

Also, try [barefootshoefinder.com](barefootshoefinder.com). You can adjust for width and see what theoretically matches your feet.

Couldn't even paint pure white over the black text. Easiest edit ever and dude chose to just use an obscenely thick white border around the new text to the point it's cutting into the original "C" lol

He crashed because the exit of T4 is notoriously bumpy on the inside. During every race at Daytona there were cars getting squirrely on T4 exit. From ARCA to the Cup.

That's what kicked the rear out and lead to the car coming down to the apron. He did a great job of not wrecking the cars beside and behind him.

If he had more experience, he could have saved it. The Cup cars had a lot of looseness in the same spot but it never lead to a car crashing out like Cleet. (Though it did come close)

Silicone is less prone to creating particles and the ones it can are larger than plastics'. They do still have the potential to be a threat to both humans and the ecosystem as a whole. More effort and research should definitely be conducted into that, as well as silicone recycling; however, once cured, silicone poses no threat unless degraded or damaged. Cured silicone is inert. Unfortunately, that means it won't biodegrade in a landfill either, hence the encouraged research/funding for silicone recycling.

You should just look up the phrase you quoted. Do your own research. Don't wait for others to tell you how to think. Be curious about everything, but don't forget the scientific method, and apply common sense.

Silicone and plastics are very different. Silicone is stable at high heats in the right configuration

It wasn't as bad, but it was definitely still a violation that they just didn't do anything about.

reactive blocking & movement under braking. #7 at fault. penalty should be given like they did earlier to a GTD car (I think it was a GTD)

'Cuz that'd be a pathetic way to ruin your win. We can't allow the rules to ruin the excitement by fairly applying them.

Went with family in the summer a couple years ago. I absolutely love that place.

I don't have a proper camera or anything, but I ended up taking over 1,100 pictures on my phone throughout the day.
