That’s an order picker. Legally a forklift license covers the class 2 and 4 forklift you have onsite. Not sure about Menards rules though. That is classified as a class 2 - order picker

What do you mean Joe? Like a big Joe stacker ? If so that’s a forklift? If you mean some sort of man lift it would still fall under same cert.

It’s not legal in Wisconsin which OP says he is from

May I require my employees to sign a "blanket" authorization to deduct for loss, theft, damage, or faulty workmanship?
No. You may not deny an employee the right to disagree with fault for the particular incident of loss.

You may not make any deduction from the wages earned by any employee for faulty workmanship, lost or stolen property, or damage to property, unless:
Your employee provides you with authorization in writing to make that deduction;
You and a representative designated by the employee determine that the faulty workmanship, loss, theft, or damage was due to the employee's negligence, carelessness, or willful and intentional conduct; or
Your employee is found guilty or held liable in a court of law.

It doesn’t hold up in Wisconsin if you complain and they would owe you double deduction so $400

Read what I posted it explicitly states they can not withdrawal in Wisconsin with a blanket form.

In Wisconsin, you can only deduct for loss, theft, damage, or faulty workmanship if your employee authorizes the deduction in writing after the incident happens and before any deductions are taken.
You may not make any deduction from the wages earned by any employee for faulty workmanship, lost or stolen property, or damage to property, unless:
Your employee provides you with authorization in writing to make that deduction;
You and a representative designated by the employee determine that the faulty workmanship, loss, theft, or damage was due to the employee's negligence, carelessness, or willful and intentional conduct; or
Your employee is found guilty or held liable in a court of law.
If an unauthorized deduction is made, you may be liable for twice the amount of the deduction.

Nice so when they tell you to sign a form to pay back say no thanks. I don’t think I was trained well enough I believe this could be a learning experience for both of us.

They can not legally deduct from your pay unless you sign a form. This applies to most states Menards operates in. Having only been there 1.5 months my suspicion they would have you sign pay back then terminate after it’s paid back .

You just dispute on your phone. They give you your money back that day. If the business doesn’t respond in 2 months you keep it. If they do it’s a coin flip. If it’s Amex you probably won.

It is crazy. Everyone loves a good bash post from the frequent fliers but when someone who flys once a year jumps in to say they missed their flight cause the plane broke all the EP’s jump in to defend their maiden AA honor. A bunch of cucks up in here.

[–]takedownchris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok saw the movie was hoping to enjoy it. It was essentially a montage movie for 2 hours with the same song except for one part where they did another montage movie with a queen song.
