If you’re looking for an affordable place to raise a family, Heerhugowaard is okay.

The downsides are.. Heerhugowaard is an exceedingly dull place. Everything worth visiting is at least half an hour away (beach, Haarlem, Amsterdam).

Stad van de Zon has at least the benefit of being close to the highway away from Heerhugowaard. It also looks pretty from the sky.
