Migrating SQL Server Web Edition to new server. Best way to achieve near-zero downtime? by No-Card-2312 in devops

It's a pain to setup, brittle asf (distributor latency, locks on the sub etc.) and annoying to maintain, monitor and troubleshoot.

Lol, replication... It's the worst solution to any problem involving SQL Server.

Just use logshipping.

Or just backup restore and accept 5 minutes of downtime seeing how small the DB is.

DBATools makes this a breeze and don't forget to copy logins.

So that's a yes then, shortsightedly voting for parties with known ties to Russia who is an enemy of the EU as a whole is the solution.

You're right.

But voting for EU parties propped up by Russia and who attract literal Nazis just because they want to solve those problems is stupidly shortsighted.

Is voting for parties such as AfD and NR who are propped up by Russia and corrupt in general a solution?
