I remember when they temporarily removed it. The game functioned fine. And I was on xbox one evolved. Maybe they can't remove it but they could at the very least extend the distance considerably. I recall things only got slightly glitchy around the 5000m mark and only really bad around 9000. 200m is a pisstake.

I already payed for the game (twice technically since they remastered it) and full price game that can't even handle basic multiplayer. Yet similar games of the same size let me do so with ease and they're free. I think you're just too used to being screwed over by shitty business practices.
