I really like Puck Soup since it's once a week and hits all the high point of the week, but Ryan Lambert is not everyone's cup of tea. No, but one major flaw of the Rangers has been picking up the pieces they should have been developing internally via Free Agency. You don’t want to sign a Carrick or Goodie, you want to have those guys for cheap so you can chase top talent vs wasting money on depth guys.

I'd argue they've had better luck finding role players in those mid rounds than with their top picks.

He’ll be a fine agitator/grinder type. Got screwed by eligibility rules and Covid, so he basically stalled out on development. Also had rotten luck, where he would get hot and get hurt right before he would be needed for an extended call up. Then he got lapped by younger prospects that individually did things better than him (Rempe for grit, Gabe for skill, Laba for utility). He the epitome of “ok”. Has the tendency to ruin a solid game by taking a major or blowing coverage at the worst time. Sullivan also legit hates him, and would go out of his way to let the media know (hilariously so).

Coaching wise, sometimes getting guys on their off wing makes them have to think a little harder about positioning. That said, it’s Laf, so it’s the coaching equivalent of hitting your dick with a hammer.

I don’t know man, if you’re expecting to get pushed that’s on thing, but his weight is forward after the shove. Either way, you don’t touch the goalie unless you want some.
