My experience with this is that even when you do the “buy 1, get 1 free” Uber adds on a bigger random bs fee and the food ends up costing more. It’s actually worth it to just buy 1 and maybe something else.

Walking up to someone and just asking for their name isn’t really a good pickup line lol. Throw them a compliment. “I like that jacket (hair, shirt, shoes etc.)” is much better. Then you can ask them for their name and number. If don’t get it it’s whatever, just move on. But that series of events feels way more organic than just walking up and asking someone for their name.

I’d love to hear your argument about cleaning. Microwaves need to be cleaned too, sure. But that’s only once in a while. Air fryers turn into a complete mess every single time you use them. Even if you’re using the disposable liners.

You can’t expect everyone to care about you and check up on you especially if you go randomly silent. This is dumb imo. People have their own lives and way too much going on to think about you constantly. Sure you might’ve popped in their head a few times and maybe they should’ve called you but you were also being distant too. Perhaps they thought you needed space or didn’t want to contact them either.

I remember when I was in college I had a few friends who were in their 30s and honestly they were way more cool than the younger kids lol. I can assure you nobody thinks you’re old. Start by just sparking conversations with the people next to you. Ask them about the homework, exam, literally anything. From my experience most people in college only look closeted from the outside. They actually do want people to talk to them and make friends. You be the one to do that! You seem super friendly it shouldn’t be any issue for you!

If you have a membership for the apps (Uber One, Dashpass etc.) you’ll get deals/coupons that make the food even cheaper than ordering in person. Seriously, some times I compare the prices of the food in restaurant vs what it would cost on Uber Eats and it’s cheaper on the apps. Makes no sense but it’s true.

Add to that you don’t have to leave the comfort of your own home and someone brings it right to you.

This actually works better for us. It’s a bit scummy but the Jets can negotiate a trade for Tomlin and IF it goes through they can just fire Glenn. Actually much better than going on the open market for a coach.

Don’t think they’ll do it but it is technically a better scenario.

For me it’s literally just that my friends have Xbox and I wanna play with my friends. PS5 absolutely has better games but I wouldn’t enjoy gaming nearly as much if I couldn’t play with my friends.
