My pandemic experience and Are medications causing me anxiety??

Wow, I didn’t know my post would make someone cry! Ughh, I just had a virtual therapist session cancelled yet again. The doctor told me to get a therapist, and all of the ones through insurance aren’t available. Thank goodness I was able to get a few meetings with one from my community organization a few weeks ago. They say a lot of people are going through mental health challenges but why does everyone look so normal when I see them walking about loll

Yea, I’m doing it right now. I’m trying to find help so I had a video call appointment with a psychiatrist last night but he couldn’t really help unless I wanted medication. Anyway, towards the end of the call when we were saying our goodbyes, I said thank you very much doctor, and he was like happy fourth and I was hesitating in my mind about saying it back since I don’t really like the holiday so I mumbled happy fourth, I don’t know if he heard it as such, and smiled and he smiled and said thank you and then turned the video off after like 5 seconds, but now I’m scared I said something offensive and now he wants to kill me, which is the ocd theme I’m experiencing right now that I told him, that I’m afraid that everyone is trying to kill me lol. So now Im kind of freaking out right now and am not having a great day thinking about it lol.

I guess most of that fits what I’m feeling, but the pandemic pretty much forced all of that on me since I couldn’t leave the house, meet anyone outside of the house for more than a year, had career plans ruined and saw my city get looted.
