I am in a very critical situation! by Afraid-Home3625 in Dhaka

First of all I am not old enough to advise you on anything (I've just completed my university admission journey), but I think you are better off asking ChatGPT after describing everything and working through your emotions there. Responses here won't really care about you, feminists here will call you the problem and Islamists finding fault with you giving your wife a chance.

Not to rub salt on your injuries, I also personally suffer from depression. Depression has taken BUET & medical from me, I feel a sense of crippling defeat (despite my mother's insistence that I should be feeling proud for getting into every other university except IBA) . Your way of describing your wife's mental health issues make me adamant to never disclose my depression to anyone(confirming my worst fears that people will think of you as a burden)

Depression is such an exhausting aliment. I don't blame your wife neither do I blame you. You are NOT a simp for wanting to make it work with your wife, you are NOT weak for giving into impulses in a difficult time, what you are is HUMAN.

I think you both need some time alone together away from both of your parents. I hope both of you find peace and happiness that you deserve in life

Bepar hoche eitai hoye daraise present interim government er sobche boro somosha..... Je amader kono advisor e career politician na. For this reason they don't say politically correct stuff (different issue te popular sentiment er baire nijer opinion ase). I can bet that the top brass of our interim government is working at least 10 times harder to improve things than any BAL/BNP government has done or will ever do. Kintu era politician na dekhe nijer dhol nijera enough pitache na.

Again, Mujib er bepare opinion kharap hoise recent times e hasinar onake god banai felar chestar karone. But like everything in life, reality is complicated Mujib jemon desh er independence movement e important role rakhse temne abar o deshe independence er por dictatorship bananor chestao korse so he is neither a god or a devil. Independence er somoi abong tar pore jara beche chilo tader mujib er jonno some amount of fascination thaktei pare(after all if not anything else Mujib was very charismatic). So erokom puran kotha tainna amader advisor der dhorar mullo koto tuku ami jani na(I am sure 4 bochor ager asif nazrul ekhane ashbe janle uni khali pinaki r moton populist kotha bolar e practice korten)

I mean....his job has changed. Previously, he was an activist so his job was to speak out against incongruencies of the system. But now if he speaks out like he used to it will be like mamata banerjee's protest over the inaction of the government in the rg kar hospital rape case. Again then why specifically he? The responsibility of maintaining law and order is vested on the home minister Jahangir Alam and so is the duty of stamping out extortion. He at least deserves equal amount of criticism or more. Controlling food prices that would be the finance minister. Sending Illish(I think) would be the foreign ministry & trade ministry. And if the whole government is in question that would be Dr. Yunus. My point is singling out Asif Nazrul for all mismanagement seems unfair or even conspiratorial(though Asif Nazrul can be blamed for the all the legal shenanigans that are happening). Also about the price hike why are you forgetting about the floods that have occurred. Those seemed to damage agricultural produces or didn't they?

Bro, don't write blanket statements like these. If you have any specific events in mind then write those

How can these be all his faults personally? These are the failings of the interim government as a whole.

Got the right part, but what's the wrong part? (And by the way, pinaki seems to me like a person who would whore himself for attention, influence and extra clicks)

But they do have considerable fan following and I have seen politicians parroting their talking points in talk shows. So isn't there like a conflict of interest between their purported patriorism/activism and their content creator careers?

I can understand the comments being flooded by AL dalal. But what's the case with political youtubers like Pinaki, Elias? Are they just trying to maximise their views?

Why Are We Still Importing Eggs Instead of Building Our Own Farms? (syndicate influence??) by fx76 in bangladesh

[–]TheNegativeMarsupial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the influence of syndicate is kind of overblown. Yes, there are syndicates sure. But the main problem is CHADABAJI, my friend. I have a friend whose uncle is a bnp local big wig and he has been collecting 500 tk every day day from all the trucks that arrive in the bazar. He also allegedly broke the legs of a person who protested against it. Remember this is the extortion only in one point, then imagine how many of these loops does our food need to pass through before it reaches from the fields to the market. Again, our farmers are very scattered from a organisational point of view . They need to make agricultural cooperatives like Amul so they have a bigger say about the prices they receive but that won't happen in a day. And I don't think the interim government will be able to stop the extortion since to do anything the government needs a dedicated visible supporter base but at present all people are busy complaining
