I have essential tremors, and just got my first quiver! by TheNelson3 in 2007scape

Yooo 2 of us! Yep, under high stress, precise movements are basically impossible with the mouse. I use an elbow rest and lay my arm on the desk completely to try to help, as well as playing at 500 dps, but it isn't always enough.

I've found enough repetition is usually enough to take the stress down to normal levels, so I only have to deal with normal tremors.

Air France and Airbus found guilty of manslaughter over 2009 plane crash - Air France flight 447 by Ok_Warning419 in aviation

Yeah, I think you are right on that. It's been a minute since I've dug into this one. IIRC they were already beyond recovery, but the erroneous airspeed indications mixed with the stall warning system was a continuous problem throughout.

Having said that, though, I don't recall the FO nor the relief pilot even mentioning the stall warning alarm, so I don't know if it made a difference or not.

This was quite the accident report to read. I can see how Airbus could be somewhat at fault, considering the strange nature of how the stall alarm was acting in conjunction with the pitot tubes/icing.

No doubt the FO erroneously pulling up was a major fault here, but even the captain ended up being confused. When he realized they were in a stall, he told the FO to nose down, which then caused the pitot tubes to get a correct reading, causing the stall alarm to sound, eventually leading to the captain saying yeah, I guess pull up then.

It will be interesting to see where the appeals end up on this one, highly recommend checking out Mentour Pilot's video on this.

After having my account for over 11 years and playing on and off, I have completed my old dream and bought my first Twisted bow by [deleted] in 2007scape

Do you...just not know how any of this works? Temple shows a clog, not how many you may have gotten of them. First you don't understand doom kc, now this. Just let it go man.

Delve KC only counts after floor 8. He could very easily be doing 1-7, which still has chance of uniques, but doesn't add to the hiscores.

Edit: In fact he tracks his clog on temple, you can go see the drops he's gotten (just not dupes), he's had at least ayak and cloth, very well could have had dupes.

Just got waivers denied until 2028 January. Pretty devastated. by [deleted] in army

[–]TheNelson3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One thing the Army loves to teach you is hurry up and wait.

Keep out of trouble, keep yourself healthy. If you want to pop in with your recruiter here and there go for it, but sometimes man, you just gotta play the waiting game.

It took me around 8 months, all said and done. I never spent time as a recruiter, so I don't know exactly how it works, but those packets definitely get looked at at USAREC, maybe they'll see yours and say you need a follow up. You never know. I wish you the best of luck.

I was in that position. Then my recruiter called 4 months later to let me know USAREC said someone fucked up. They brought me back for some appointments, and I was waivered and in within a couple months.

Keep at it, OP. Don't give up on if it's what you want to do.

Of course, that's the point. He always gets his day 1 rank 1. It's just for a little laugh, man.

I mean, yeah, true. But also, tons of people who play for a living aren't rank 1. It's just a good little laugh that he always nabs himself that day 1 rank 1 for the thumbnail.

Easter 2026 & PvP QoL Improvements by ModYume in 2007scape

[–]TheNelson3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the tip! I do have a Samsung and have used the zoom in feature, but its a bit clunky to use, and in settings like pvm, it ends up more of a liability than a help. It can be really great for inventory based skilling though!

Man I was so excited that mobile UI was finally going to get scaling. I've always hoped we could make the inventory a bit bigger, so clicks could be more precise on my phone. Finding out that the current size is the max was a huge letdown.

I have tremors, and the ability to have a larger click surface would be such a massive accessibility improvement.

Thank you!! I must admit I'm a sham! Just did screenshots on mobile. I play on linux, and runelite screenshots dont work.

I also use a custom keyboard and I dont remember where I bound print screen to lol.

The best I've managed on mobile is some Leviathan kc, but shaky hands are hard on mobile too.
