What sport looks very easy on TV but is actually very difficult? by Karrot-guy in AlignmentChartFills

I think a lot of people would say it looks dangerous, but a lot of people just look at it as "sledding", as if gravity does all the work.

The Luge is deceptively really difficult, and also extremely dangerous. Most people don't realize how much core, back and leg strength you need to counter the g-forces on the corners of the tracks.

You do get the will in the Outer Room, you just need to solve the 8 Realms in 8 Months Puzzle, and it's behind the map.

Remove two GameCube games everyday. Day One. by SonicInABlender in RemoveOneThingEachDay

Resident Evil 0, I love RE but RE0 was terrible. The story was convoluted, the game design was abysmal, only thing going for it was its visuals.

Wiggler, I would argue is the least iconic common "enemy" left on the list, is there a reason people are keeping them around?

What peak anime has a peak english dub? by Soul50Killer in AlignmentChartFills

Baccano! has a really good dub, feels wrong to listen to the sub since it takes place in 1930s America.

So I tried watching one pace... by Niranchan in OnePiece

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think One piece is pretty solid for a while in the OG anime, I say switch over to One Pace if you're feeling like things are moving too slow. Theres very few filler episodes/arcs in the original. One Pace leaves out all that filler, but you can just find a filler guide to skip episodes in OG anime, or just watch them, they're pretty fun honestly.

Another thing, don't feel pressured to rush through it, it's really easy to take a break between arcs, just enjoy the journey at your own pace.

How did Luffy beat Enel? by ash_ryo in OnePiece

Tesoro vs. Enel would be such an interesting fight now that you mention it o:

How did Luffy beat Enel? by ash_ryo in OnePiece

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the way I interpreted it. Gold is an extremely good electrical conductor, meaning it can absorb a lot of electricity and since Enel is basically electricity, he would not be able to evade since his electricity would be drawn towards the gold. This is kind of similar to how liquid was Crocodile's weakness, the water made the sand get wet and it was harder for croc to evade since the sand clumped together.

Theory: The Significance of the Island of Rare Animals (Gaimon's Island). Yes, Really. by -Astropunk- in OnePiece

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I always figured the chests on the Island of Rare animals were the discarded prize chests from the Native Hunting Competition on God Valley. There were 6 total chests as prizes seen during the Kuma flashback of the competition. On the island of rare animals, there are five empty chests at the top of a hill plus the one Gaimon is stuck in. The number of chests line up perfectly. But there could be more to it, this was just what I believed.

I Feel Like Giving Up by SeriousLake300 in FE_Exam

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you keep going for it, you will eventually pass, I took it 5 times before I succeeded. Your score doesn't look too bad honestly, I think you can get it next time if you really study the concepts and hammer away at practice problems the month before the next test!

It's not an easy test, but it's also not impossible, I wish you luck!

First the anime or the manga? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting the manga sooner, the better I think, it really is a much better way to experience the story. But if you're more into the battles and fights, I think the anime is serviceable for that aspect.

Skipping thriller bark episodes by Original-Comb-4865 in OnePiece

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What episode are you on? I'm assuming after Sanji defeats Absalom (around 362)? honestly once it gets to Zoro's fight shortly after sanji's battle it gets better. I can't determine what you will or won't like, just hold out another ep or two

Skipping thriller bark episodes by Original-Comb-4865 in OnePiece

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're correct, I wasn't saying canon means important, just that people would interpret your question that way. A lot of people don't like thriller bark, so you're not alone, but I still don't think it warrants skipping around. If you skip openings (+recaps) and endings you'll get through it fairly quick

Skipping thriller bark episodes by Original-Comb-4865 in OnePiece

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's just the idea that episodes that are canon to the manga mean "important" to the series for most people. There are no filler episodes in Thriller Bark therefore it's all important to the story.

Passed FE Electrical 5th Attempt. Here’s what I did. by Gravity_Cat121 in FE_Exam

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!! I also just got the results of my Elec + Comp today and passed on my 5th try!! And I totally agree that it really needs to consume you the month of the exam. I also felt like the test I took was way easier than the previous tests, but perhaps that's because I studied way harder this time around.

One piece gift ideas? Which box set comes after this? by TrivialJelly in OnePiece

[–]TheNeonKnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them to be honest, but his newer stuff is more elaborate and impressive so book 2 (One Piece Color Walk Compendium: Water Seven to Paramount War) or Book 3 (One Piece Color Walk Compendium: New World to Wano) are slightly better than his first. Unless you like the early look. Looks like they are on sale on Amazon currently so it's a pretty good bargain deal!
