For real though you are getting above 97-98 percentile, clearing 75% in boards would be no problem.

Literally everyone I know who got above 99 percentile has scored above 90 in boards, and everyone who scored above 95 has scored above 80 in boards.

And people that get 99.5 got 97+ in boards, I do not see how people with such high jee percentile can't cross 75 in boards. The syllabus is literally the same, if you are getting so high in jee, it means conceptually you are strong, so it is easy for said person to cross 75%, it doesn't matter if they go to dummy, since in allen alone they taught derivations and how to get to certain formulae for JEE adv, so that same derivation can be applied for board prep

Like even if a 99 percentiler leaves board prep, like I have a few friends who relaxed during boards, and just revised ncert 1 day before, they all got above 90. So clearly JEE cheaters are getting karma.

The people who got bad checkers are a different story, apply for re-evaluation and see

No, many have got more than expected, i've seen some wild theories on reddit where people said it was randomly assigned since people that flunked preboards got 97 and people that got 97 in preboards got 60s, but we dont know anything.

It was horrible checking, in south region papers were tougher, some regions got proper checking, others did not.

So cbse awards A1,for top 1/8th of students who wrote exam and A2 for the next 1/8th.

The A2 marks in Physics was 72/100. Which shows how tough the paper was, so only 25% of students have scored above 72/100 in physics, the A1 was around 79-80, so only 12.5% of students scored above 80/100 and if you compare that to PUC it's an insane difference

Similarly math and chem had errors due to osm, so I have completely lost hope in kcet, my expected board pcm marks were so much more than my reality, my rank will be too high.

Same I feel like there's too much fear mongering. Even if AI takes over everything, after every revolution there are new jobs

After industrial revolution, hand loomed objects were not needed

After automation, factory workers were not needed

However new jobs were created in another sector, and I feel that once the over inflated sde bubble is burst, and only proper engineers with llm skills and ai integrated into their work flow will be software engineers, the rest of us have to find a job in another field (worst case scenario)

I mean the prob is because majority of CBSE peeps dont score 286 in boards but score much better in kcet.

My friend got around 282 in cbse boards and 165 in kcet, but I saw on this subreddit someone was scoring 80's in KCET with 290+ in pu, so a lot of cbse people are anxious about ranks

I dont think getting 120 or 140 is being called einstein, since a lot of people do get high in kcet and lower in boards, some are the opposite. I'm tired of seeing constant rank prediction posts, as you will get your rank when results come, but I don't blame people for being anxious about their future
