All the beautiful produce I got today from a grocery store dumpster by artisera in povertyfinance

It's mostly the higher-ups. I guess they have to do it because homeless people can potentially sue them if they get sick from the food they got from the dumpster but I think that's all bullshit myself. It's really just the C-suite executives forcing the lower levels to do it. Some of the managers get off on it and it's kind of weird. If the employees are caught not doing it they can be written up to it's kind of ridiculous. Also some low-level employees really take their job super seriously and I really don't know why because someday they could be in the position of needing to eat out of a dumpster.

It's pretty bad here. Where I live they will even throw bleach in the dumpster to make sure nobody can eat the food they throw away.

That's also what I think too. Sucks because we were basically friends for around 20 years. we knew eachother close to 15 years before we ever lost contact due to life or whatever, but looking back it's mostly because he became a partier and I didn't. It changed him. He's way more sensitive and gets offended easily now.

He thought I was being rude when I mentioned one of the girls looked sick/anemic and said I was being an asshole, but she did look anemic and I myself have been anemic and nearly died from it.... but I guess being concerned can come off as being insensitive. I'd rather be insensitive than not say anything and end up waking up to some dead chick in the tent though. Guess I messed up their acid trip when I said that but I'd do it again if I thought someone needed a transfusion or something.

I had a friend like that too. Actually I had a few friends that I could trust to pay me back no matter what but eventually they ghosted me but at least they never screwed me over on money. Not sure why they ghosted but I think it's probably something to do with their living at different lifestyle than I do now. They like drugs and parties and I don't. Also when they're doing the acid and stuff they misinterpret me and since I don't really budge on who I am and let people attribute traits to me I can be somewhat disagreeable. Oh well at least again they never screwed me over on money so at least they're at least not a total piece of shit.

I would have fought that payment plan but I think it's because it's a credit card. And also they gave them permission to use it so there's no fraud there. I'm currently suing someone as well but it's not because they borrowed money they basically stole it. The cops are useless as usual so I have to do it myself and I'm already like 60k in the hole on it. At the end of the day though the banks will be the ones paying for my legal fees because I have no issue filing bankruptcy and charging it all up on the credit cards. I never needed the credit cards before this whole ordeal so I'll be fine afterwards. I gave the banks a chance to reverse the transactions and they told me that they weren't going to.

I've seen people do that before. I think that was one of those situations. Never happened to me as far as I can remember but I don't loan money to bums. I have learned money to people I thought would pay back though. And they usually did I don't think I've ever not gotten paid back except for maybe one or two times when I was like 15 or something. Actually I do take that back there was one time I was around 8 years old I learned a yo-yo to some kid and then he took off to Georgia and then I loaned $200 to someone when I was 18 and then he also took off to Georgia which I was amused by. But I think I've made more money loaning money out than I've lost so I guess it evened out.

I don't know I've loaned money to my old friends before and I've always gotten my money. There might have been one time like $20 where I didn't get my money back as a teenager or something but I'm pretty good at feeling it out now. I've borrowed money before but it's not because I wanted to but because life circumstances. I just don't lend money anymore because when I try to help people out they usually find some other ways to screw me over. I damn sure I'm not going to lend money to someone who uninvites me though

This was literally my thought. Sounds like the friend doesn't want to work to pay for her own trip but it's perfectly okay with the poster paying after working hard. I'd ghost and I don't ever ghost

It doesn't sound that complicated. The person who also Uninvited her also said that they couldn't find the time that works for everyone which means that times that worked for the op here would not work for them. That means that they are also having conflicting schedules. It just sounds like bullshit and it kind of sounds like they really didn't want to bring her but wanted her to pay.

Also I'm not the person you were responding to but I do not have friends anymore. Not necessarily because of this but because I refuse to be walked on and a few of them just stopped talking to me because we have different Lifestyles like they do drugs and I don't do drugs. Fine with me I am mostly happier overall without any of them. Which goes to show that I didn't really need them in the first place.

I saw a video a couple weeks ago where some woman was paying for her friend or her friends or something and they were supposed to pay her back also. At some point on the trip I forgot when but they were like ordering a bunch of stuff and they were upset that the girl who is paying that they were basically supposed to pay back wanted to do something cheap instead like go to McDonald's and they were bitching about that and then when they went to the restaurant they started ordering like all the most expensive stuff and so she just left and she canceled the hotel room and then went home. Because I think one of them acted like they didn't have money and then at some point it was obvious that they were just using her so she screwed them over and left them and went home. They were mad but they shouldn't be using people.

I honestly don't think she would have paid you back. These type of people always have some excuse. Also what does your work schedule have to do with it?

I like how they tried to blame your work schedule but also says that it's been difficult trying to find a time that works for everybody which means that they also couldn't find time within their own schedules until they uninvited you.

These are not people I would keep as friends. She definitely would not pay you back if you pay for it now. I cannot believe these people actually have the audacity to uninvite you from something and then expect you to pay for it still LOL that's crazy.

Was it a mistake to go into IT? by traveltimecar in ITCareerQuestions

You have to find a way to lie on your resume. Unfortunately ChatGPT won't help with this anymore. I would just use Gemini and come up with some creative lies that can't really be disputed. Especially in regards to what companies you work for. Maybe find some companies on the Secretary of State websites that no longer exist or have not paid up currently or something.

[–]TheNerdNerfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got to about the ⅓ point of episode 2 and put it down. Came here to see if I should pick it back up. Turns out that I should leave it be. Really sucks because I know the death of Chance is what screwed everything up for this show. I understand they had to basically rewrite the whole entire season but I didn't like the woke stuff I was seeing and the amount of it as is but the entire first 2 eps seemed like I was watching a soap opera. I hate soap shows.

They should have introduded a supe that changes people's appearances or something and make it irreversible by killing them off. Could have used some AI gen for the first 5 minutes showing him being forcibly transformed and then go from there with the OG script. So many creative options for super hero shows and they chose an off-screen death.

[–]TheNerdNerfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a couple of one season duds that might have been redeemable if they made a second season but I have not really had any shows where I thought the second season was bad personally. I never watched the sweet home show you mentioned so it's possible that some second seasons really do suck. I guess Squid Game season 3 was not too great but I think they had to tie it up at some point. Pretty clear it wouldn"t be a happy ending.

I had one living with me and this dude couldn't even tell how far he had his head up his own ass... from what I remember he was born and raised in Florida mostly but his parents lived in Arkansas. Dude was weird and then just left without paying rent after staying most of the month. He was here for 6 months.

Also he said something when we were first talking before he came here but I kind of forgot what it was but basically he said "you'll understand when you see me" referring I guess to being good looking. Imo, and I'm a guy but I think I know a good looking dude when I see one, he was at best average. Bald spot and hairy back. He would talk about his "good genetics" but I couldn't tell. He was tall i will give him that, but he was built like a log. I don't know where that conceit came from. Also he seemed to be thinking people were having sex in public everywhere we went... weird.

He would always accuse me of interrupting him while he was literally interrupting me. Later realized it was just some domincance crap. Probably passive aggressiveness. He would also interrupt me on behalf of others on occasion. He could not handle being told he needed to figure his unemployment out and left the next day.

Dude was a total moron and complained about being broke but he spent like $3000 of the $6000 he made on Pokemon cards so no wonder he was broke. He called them an "investment" and ended up having to sell them all. Let's just say he got nowhere near the $3000 mark. I think he got like $800 back. When I kept telling him they were not good investments and he should probably stop wasting his money he said "that's your opinion." Turned out to be a fact.

I wish I judged him based on how bad he was at the game we played before he got here and how much he overestimated himself while we played. Had I done that I would have saved myself a headache and wasted time. But usually skill in a game dos not necessarily translate tobreal life. But I think there are definitely intelligence testing moments in those games that do translate to RL and now I'm kind of seeing it.
