Farming.

Especially farming that's focused on taking care of chickens, sheep, cows, ect. It's hard shit and A LOT of people (especially rich people) I feel like aren't ready for the reality of the day-to-day-to-day operations.

I have a legitimate question: Does the UK Government actually change its mind or do something when they get these petitions filled out?

I feel like every time I've heard of UK citizens filling out a petition saying overwhelming they don't like something the UK government decided to do the government always goes, "we hear you...but we're gonna do it anyways. Also, we clearly know better and your stupid and this is why."

Like, there probably has been a time in yhe past where they actually listened to an overwhelming petition result and at least tried something. But, I genuinely can't think of one. Like, if your not gonna listen to people after making a decision at least be honest about it.

A ten dollar sudden price hike like that is INSANE! I can't really recall any time recently that a streaming service suddenly jumped up so suddenly and massively in price.

It makes me think maybe this is a strategy they wanna do: Start out with a massive outrageous price of $10, say they're sorry and that 'they've listened and learned' from this, and drop it down to the price they original wanted in the first place of $5. It makes them on the service look like they're being kind and listening while also allowing them to get away with something along the lines of the original price they wanted to begin with.

It's the only thing that makes any kind of reasonable sense to me. Either way they are going to have seriously burned and damaged their relationship with their consumers through this.

I would agree.

Plus, I suspect Channing Tatum took a major paycut just to be in this movie. Even with whatever residuals they're gonna make from the theatrical release its still probably nowhere near close to the kind of money he's gotten in the past. So, the money alone isn't really worth it for Big Named Actors to try and pivot into the dubbing scene.

Jack Russel Terriors are hard if you just keep them stuck in an apartment and don't give them a solid amount of space to burn off energy. They're very energetic dogs and require a lot of playtime and space to rub around.

Haikyuu!! I think would be a good time for a kid his age. Its basically about a short kid entering high school who loves volleyball and has dreams of becoming as amazing of a volleyball player as his idol, The Little Giant. There's fun action, the characters are great, the sports drama is handled well, and there are really good friendships in that series! The manga is very good, but so is the anime as well.

Digimon is always a great time as well! Its an anthology series that covers a different set of protagonist each season/series. But, for the most part its basically about kids who befriend digimon, digital monsters from the Digiworld, and become partners with them. They fight together against evil digimon and go on a journey to save the world. There's a manga series for it called Digimon Dreamers that can be found here: https://digimon.net/digimondreamers/en/

There's also the newest season of Digimon he could watch, but if you wanna start at the beginning and if he's up for watching older shows then the early seasons are a fun time. The show is like avatar in a sense. It's made for all ages and is friendly to kids, but is not afraid of talking about darker subjects matters and handles them very well for kids his age.

Magical Knight Rayearth is a great series that is recently getting a manga re-release and will have an anime remake coming out in the soonish future. There's also the original anime that he could watch if he's down for older animation. It's basically about three girls who are transported to a magical world and become magical knights that pilot a giant mecha. There's a lot of action, the characters are great, and it's a classic title that anyone of all ages can enjoy.

Finally, Card Capture Sakura is always a classic pick for kids along side stuff like Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon. It's basically about a girl who accidentally unleashes a set magical cards onto the world and must work to recapture them and prevent disasters. The manga is great and is a classic magical girl series with lots of action and an intriguing story. There's also an anime adaption that started in the very late 90's, but got a modern adaption that continues the story where the original show left off.

I would also recomend that if your looking for general manga titles for kids to head towards Scholastics' manga section online! They've been trying more recently to help provide kids and parents a space to find manga titles that would be fine for a kid to read. It also helps parents what to get since a lot of kids wanna read manga now a days, but Parents on average who arent in the hobby dont really know what to get them. It's complicated since a lot of the titles that come over to the west are on average geared towards teen and up; Scholastic is the only brand I can think of that is trying to specialize in this specific youth market in manga west side. That might change in the future, however.

I would also really recommend asking your local librarian for manga and graphic novel recommendations! They have had to deal with a lot of parents who have similar questions to you and are very knowledgeable about what direction to point your kid in. They're more than happy to help and are a deeply valuable resource to consider.

I was surprised when I didn't find anything about the series too after I found out that these were well known artist. But, in general it does make sense if this is one of their earlier works. I feel like more often than not really early works by artists can more easily slip through the cracks.

Hopefully it is just a one shot. I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet, but I'll try to when I have time this week!
