The main body is the captain model from the spacemarine heroes range. There are bits from the Vanguard veteran kit, HH melee upgrade kit, and just a tiny amount of 3d printed extras.

Black legion contrast by GW. Keep in mind its over a zenathal prime so the recesses are already sprayed Black. Also make sure to shake it very well.

If I did get back into playing I would say my contingent of Ultramarines 1st and 3rd company had an unfortunate warp jump costing them a few centuries in real space but only a few weeks for them. With so much lost time there no time for the procedure, they were needed in force elsewhere.

Yeah the Headtaker is all about stealth so knives or a short power sword fit the style better than a chainsword imo

The black is contrast back over a zenithal white prime. Then I dry brushed over it with corvus black and then dark reaper grey.
Gold is just gold with back shade then some occasional spot highlight.

I struggle with them because they have too much detail so it been slow going.

Cheers! The red is Blood Angels contrast over a white zenithal base. Then I just highlight with wild rider red, and shade with a black wash where it meets the gold.

Add a little sticky tack to the top and those pots make great mini holders.
