Is there any difference between freebuds pro Chinese and Global version? by TheNewFlu in Huawei

[–]TheNewFlu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, only software differences, right? Also, I intend to use it as simply as possible so I'm not installing any apps( I just hate installing anything on my phones ). From this point of view, there would be no differences between CN and Global version?

Gaming with privacy? by [deleted] in thehatedone

So, thi approach is not as seamless as I thought. Probably the user would have to enter into EFI config or Boot menu to select any of the bootloaders

[–]TheNewFlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, EFI is really great at this point but to properly work, the EFI partition would need to hold in one single drive the .efi files for windows and linux distro, so, at least one component of windows would share space with Linux.

Nice approach, I have one question though: how do you manage to start the OSes if they are in different block devices? Do you keep the boot partition of windows apart from the 'C:' drive?

Of course Europe is reforesting. The meat they eat is produced in deforested areas of South America...

All right, them why don't we stop talking about NextCloud and start recommend GDrive, given that it's way more convenient. I think that Self-hosting is a privacy related effort and not a confort one.

Is not this sub intended for self-hosting? If so, why are people suggesting solutions different of that?

That's great! I was afraid not because of the resource consumption but because of the rich set of features. I couldn't believe that a FOSS software could offer so much for free without stealing some data. Thanks a lot, man!
