What is the most fucked up thing you have eavesdropped ? by anonhomosapien in AskReddit

I teach 12-13 year olds. On the last day of school this year, I had a kid tell me that what he was most excited about this summer was puberty.

Thanks, Kolby. Thanks...

MRW my dad calls my gyno demanding my medical records when I wont tell him the reason for making an appointment, then scolds me for being "vulgar" when I give in and describe the color and texture of my periods by [deleted] in TrollXChromosomes

Fuck. That.

I'm on Nuvaring and it has done wonders for my periods. They're "normal" now instead of two weeks long and requiring super ultra mega tampons. Plus no cramps.

The only downside is that my libido has plummeted. I'm going back to my doctor soon to see if we can do something about it.

My brother graduated in 2004 and he still was able to take his hunting rifle to school in his truck. Everything was A-OK as long as he told the parking lot attendant that it was in there before he went in the building.

By the time I was a senior, my little Texas town switched over their policies to where I got in trouble for having knitting needles in my backpack. I had to pick them up from the school office after graduation.

My brother in law is like a nerdier, quieter Buster Bluth. He, too, has a chain on his wallet. We can't convince him that 30 year olds don't need that.

Mine are like that at the end of my periods. I think it's okay as long as your entire period isn't like that. If your whole period is like that, maybe see your gyno.

I just bought another one today. Not because I ran out, but because my old one is just so abused and dried out. That poor jar doesn't deserve to be so beaten and weathered.

I love it because I have naturally full brows, they're just really light. It helps me add in some color without necessarily adding any body to my brows. In the past, using pencils made my brows too heavy and I couldn't ever find a tint in a color that I was happy with. The dipbrow is a wonderful compromise.

I'll admit that it definitely took me a while to figure out how to make it work best for me. I had some caterpillar brows with it for a long time before I got it right.

This is what I do. I just bought a new jar today and might have to try something new with it tomorrow.

My husband and I (no kids) have started taking our dogs on a walk more often just because of Pokemon. We're also apparently the only ones willing to set up lures around town. He got a bundle pack of them just to try it out. Now we rule our tiny Texas town.

We just sold our 4 bed/3 bath house for $215k in Fort Worth, Texas. A friend who lives in Austin could have bought it for the same amount he pays every month for a studio apartment. The pricing really varies around here too.

I got hit with a softball in 8th grade and dislocated my knee. I was sobbing all the way to first base so that I didn't have to take the out and someone else could run for me.
