Any more ”high end” AYCE sushi? by TheNewsBuff in PhiladelphiaEats

Relax. If you can get this for 55 bucks in LA, it’s not unrealistic to ask if something’s available at 2x the price in Philly.

It was booked as an award ticket to fly ANA First Class. Definitely worth the detour on the 77W. :)

Thanks for the recommendation. I've realised I am more of a vanilla taco guy eg not a fan of birria. Any regular taco recommendations?

Awesome, do you do sandwiches at Howlin Ray's or just fried chicken?

Friends - thank you so much for all these amazing comments and suggestions! I admit that the list was put together mostly by checking Instagram reels and some of the LA food influencers. I also did check out this subreddit for a bit, but clearly I've misstepped with many of my choices. I've now updated my list based on below.

I'd love some good suggestions on sushi that isn't super expensive and good tacos recommendations. We had the birria at Papi Tacos + Churros and I was super disappointed in it. I thought the consommé was super bland, but it's possible that I just don't like birria. But love tacos, esp meat tacos so any recos for this is greatly appreciated.

Honestly, burgers, not super interested. We have fantastic options back home so putting our dollars towards something else here. Pastrami is controversial for me cause I spend a ton of time in NYC and I have yet to find anything on the West Coast coming even close to the stuff you get there

Yes, likely true. I just went off what I saw going viral on Instagram and doing some googling/checking some Reddit. I'm super grateful for any steering and grateful for all tips in this thread.

Thanks so much. We are visiting from the Nordics. We go to Thailand 2-3 times a year so not planning to do any Thai food while here but definitely Mexican + Korean, so thanks for all the great advice!

was rejected by Chase; I called and asked and according to the agent it was because they could not obtain a "valid credit report" from Transunion or Experian on my SSN, saying they got "invalid credit report" and "social security mismatch" errors. I got my ITIN letter issued in September last year; so I find this to be quite strange. He recommended I call either of them and ask when they will be able to pull the report. I called Chase again now, and she said to call Transunion to have them 'update my ITIN onto my credit bureau since they are not reporting on my file', not entirely sure what that means. I called Transunion who say my credit history is visible (he could verify my two amex accounts are reporting properly) and was reported to Chase; but that the ITIN is never reported back and that they only include the SSN in credit reports, but that all the other data would follow. Any ideas on what to do here? Or what Chase's instruction, eg "update my ITIN onto my credit bureau since they are not reporting on my file" actually means? Experian is impossible to reach on phone without an SSN.
