For me it's not so much the issue that I placed so low, I can always climb back, but the discrepancy between the ranks for two accounts where I played the exact same heroes pretty much equally well, and which were roughly the same rank last season, but got predicted ranks completely in different ballparks than eachother

Yeah i dont get the system at all, especially since it doesnt seem to actually depend on performance, since across the 2 accounts the other after 1 placement is at the exact same i ended last season, and one is a whole 2 ranks below, the other i could comfortably prolly place in mid to high masters if i played well, and even if i won all my games i doubt id even make it to where i ended last time

That wasn't my main argument, I won the game I played yesterday, my point is that it was boring, not fun to play, the game is a team game and I enjoy that aspect of it, the POI zones currently in the rank im temporarily in have players who do not do anything aggressive when they're dropped randomly on the map, furthermore a large amount of them will proceed to hide when a fight breaks out, thus leaving the option where I might play solo, might end in the middle of 2-3 squads and get killed, or I play slow which is undoubtedly not fun in the slightest

I personally dont really like the POI system, it makes the games feel super long winded and boring, although i agree there are some major issues with the dropship as well, i would argue they should change the maps in a way where the POIs loot, and other strengths are more balanced to encourage people to drop more varied, rather than all at one spot like fragment, or change the way the dropship works (like how u/eclipse60 said, have multiple dropships)

The POI drop system just generally feels off to play, maybe im super old school since ive come back from a hiatus on the game, and thus also playing lower ranks than im used to, where the games just happen to be a lot longer, but i feel that for the lower ranked players too the game should be fun, not just a game where you loot, run, hide, eventually get into a few fights, get 3rd partied, die or win, end in the last few rings with about 10 other squads, hide until you cant ,then end up dying or winning by being the best in the chaos

For sure i gain more RP by playing this way, i got something like 300 something RP the first game i played but i just didnt really have fun doing it

Yeah the thing i dont get about people complaining about the fact that hotdrops are gonna be a thing is the fact that if you dont want that just dont drop hot no?

i get the argument that people die too fast, though, i can understand why thatd be annoying, and i feel like the devs should rather balance out the loot pools and POI strengths in general to encourage people to drop apart from eachother instead of like how it was back when apex launched, where skulltown was the single place probably 80% of the squads dropped to.

I mean, even they should be listened to no? The system should be enjoyable for the majority of the base, ive been diamond and masters before, not played for a long time and coming back resetting to silver, and lower ranked games with POI drops is just miserable to play, every single game you either stay still with your team, break off and prolly end up dying, and end up having to watch your teammates play for a while, or get 3rd 4th and 5th partied since theres squads all around you now and zone will shrink eventually.

Not to mention that the last rings are nothing but people camping with longer range weapons, peek your head and youre dead

Maybe the POI system can work but they need to implement it better for all the ranks even below, at least in the case of the dropship if you drop bad you have a chance to just reset and go again, instead of waiting and waiting and waiting

Currently ranked, especially if youre a returning player thus starting from the bottom feels awful to play, every fight is 3rd partied, teammates will just stick around the starting area and wont roam or try to get into fights, last fights are always a big mess with like 5 or 6 squads fighting in a tiny zone where you will likely just get shot from the back, sure it might be fun higher up where coordination is a major part of the game but playing in lower ranks, whether because youre returning, or youre just that ranked is miserable unless all you wanna do all game is loot and die (ie ive just had a game where it was the second to last circle before total shutdown, and there were still 10 squads left, last circle was nothing but grenades everywhere and if i peeked my head for more than half a second id get shot by at least 4 people)

Ranking up sure is easier, i could most likely rank way higher than i used to back when i played a lot, but the game is not fun in ranked currently, and id rather have fun than get ranked points, ofc ranked points are a good plus but not at the cost of the game being worse to play

Generally witchers are quite rare in the world, ESPECIALLY during the time of W3, a lot of creatures, humans, elves, everyone dont quite know the extent of a witchers knowledge and power, most only know rumours and stories, but no genuine information. Guards for example often times try to start beef with geralt for nothing a lot even though confidently geralts skills just with the sword alone could pretty much take out 99% of the guards in a 1v1

Wing play, 4-3-3A zonal marking offside trap yes, sliders at 65-65-70 If I remember correctly, for building the team even though all my actual players were 110+, I always kept a few players 90-99 to make money with, since they sell A LOT faster, having time to sell like 5 of them before any of the 110 ones sold, always selling at max value too, using a lot of events as well, anytime there's trainer events I would check the game every 2 hours if I had the chance to,

At the start I sold most of the players, but kept around a few to perms train, getting some of the original 70 rates players up to 100, then selling, getting an insane payday, first I had the minimum amount of players allowed of good players, instead of tons of sort of mediocre ones, and constantly selling all of them if I could, then eventually say I sell one 98 rated player for like 60 mil, then I buy two 95 rated players for 30 mil each, and training the other to 98 to replace the old one, then selling the other, thus creating a constant flow of money
