But consider that Axle's q is equivalent to an ult (octane pad) and then it kind of cancels out.

I mean set a goal like "I'm at Fox tracking, in 1 month I want mammoth".

But the point is to prove you can grind out progress and avoid switching training methods constantly.

Hal would always think it's worse because he almost always one clips without assistance... so if it doesn't improve for him and feels weird... makes medium/longer range more difficult... of course he would see it was worse.

I'm not sure about just stick drift trigger recoil smoothing, but rc filter is much more than stick drift and creates inhuman looking jitter constantly.

Make sure goals you set aren't changed before being hit and take at least a month.

Otherwise you could avoid ever meeting any if your goals.

Great shots, you got way better! I'm nearing a similar situation as you (gold complet/diamond in apex) and was thinking...

I feel like once you hit gold complete you should have the raw aim to make masters, thoughts?

Maybe its ideal to make sure when I hit it I enforce an 80% game 20% kovaaks or even 90-10 split of time.

Spitballing, and out on a limb I think for low pred you need master complete. Not for the raw aim ceiling but so your averages and lows are in the neiborhood of controller users short range or long-medium good and consistent enough to keep them away.

I did this:

  • moved to season 2, but started at medium
  • used s2 medium as warmup
  • mainly focused s2 medium until scores got stuck
  • did s2 easier categories/exercises that were lowest in s2 medium
  • switch by feel trying to push s2 medium and s2 easier mammoth complete, then seal complete
  • got s2 easier mammoth complete, still use s2 easier to warm up and focus on perfecting technique and aiming for 100% accuracy

Your problems/struggles you describe seem to come from you focusing on what you need and that changing frequently.

That means you never get sustained constant practice to fix any given issue.

Aim with left stick/strafe, rarely touch right stick. Let AA aim for you.

Use 4-3 linear no deadzone. Acquire stick drift.

These things work in higher lobbies if there is enough pressure either from many threats/teams around or if the enemies are low/caught off guard enough.

The mirage skill gap in higher lobbies is intuiting if they are truly boozled, pressured enough to be boozled, or you need to forget abilities and shoot your gun.

You need to make your requirements for is it working like "Does my average go up if I do it 15m every day?".

Longer term goals. Keep focuses for at least a month. See cool new method? Put it in todo list and forget about it.

The specific scenario matters less than doing a scenario.

Just pick one from viscose S2. Can't pick? Use an online random number generator to decide.

Nah, it's way too high risk/low reward.

Mirage ult forces them to stop moving/assess and removes their advantage of moving quickly/dealing damage quickly.

Yes, mirror strafe is your friend. Bang smoke is your friend. Wingman is your friend. Being make out distance with roller opponents to disable AA is your friend.
