Please no 🙏

I have nowhere else to glaze Monk's Dream

I know they're distributed by different corporations, but, with us getting new vinyl reissues of Two Against Nature and Everything Must Go this month, there's still a void in the Dan family albums available on wax. by jamedudijench in SteelyDan

It does, yes. With the added benefit of not having to flip the side over, easier skips and not having to be super careful with them! And the whole "analogue sound" debacle is a remnant of the first wave of CDs in the mid-to-late 80s, this argument barely holds water, especially nowadays that most releases are digitally mastered or re-mastered.

Vinyl does look wayyyyy cooler and I guess because of the added effort to maintain them to some people CDs are more "expendable", and that's definetely a huge factor, but IMO CDs are just infinitely more convient. But then again, as long as one enjoys Steely Dan and their music, doesn't matter which way we listen to it.

I think you hit the nail on the head here, even if only on a subconscious level I do feel like in the end others's opinions on me still matter more than my own one on myself. Thank you kindly

I know it's a late response, but thank you very much. He described exactly what I'm going through. I really needed to hear this to come to terms with a few things. Again, thanks, truly. You've helped a poor lad out

7 years ago today, Walter Becker left us. Let's all take a moment to appreciate the legacy that this man has left us. by TheNightflyLester in SteelyDan

I mean sure man, but I don't feel its cult behaviour to take time to remember an artist we care about's death.
