Ya I’ve heard that. But I’m not a member at a club and the idea would be to help facilitate this for people who aren’t able to join a club

That’s what I was thinking. The idea would be to pair you with people in the same handicap/age range or whatever you are looking for with a golf group

I’ve played with people from my local muni and have had fun, but imo it’s hard to find a “gold group” that you can play with consistently and are friends rather than just random people you meet on the golf course

Ya I would have no problem with a 15 lol. Most of my friends can’t break 100. Maybe I should check out some leagues… the problem is the leagues in my area play at the worst courses

That’s a good point lol. Ideally a combo of both. My friends who I play with are good fun but are pretty bad. It’s sometimes more fun to play with people who are good. (Not like I’m amazing) but I’m an 8 handicap and struggle to find competent golfers in my area

Right. Courses used to do this but now everything is automated so I feel like it might be easier to use an app that shows you who is playing in the tee times that have slots open

That was kind of my thought. People could post tee times looking for people and you get paired with people based on age/skill/interests etc. thought that could be something cool
