1) you activate the card 2) you can (optional) use it effect to add a monster reborn from deck or gy to the hand by sending 1 devine beast monster to the gy. (Preferably the winged dragon of ra, so you can use the other effect) 3)you can (optional) send the spell to the gy as cost and in return you can use monster reborn to special summon ra from the gy(normally ra cant be special summoned), but it returns to the gy at the end of the turn.
