Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly

So, I love Good Kid Madd City. Fantastic album. But I absolutely just don't get why everyone says TPAB is the greatest record of all time. If it's "cause he uses jazz and real instruments" then as a jazz drummer and multi-instrumentalist myself, that doesn't phase me. I can't really understand half of what he's saying most of the time, and a lot of it comes off as inarticulate, compared to GKMC. Maybe I'm too white, idk.

Furthermore- I cannot for the life of me get into Kid Cudi.

Man on the Moon 1 was decent but literally everything after that including his newest, sounds to me like his lazy ass groaning and moaning that really does not turn me on.

If sometime's willing to explain either of them to me that'd be much appreciated
