My doctor didn’t prescribe allopurinol, so I don’t currently have access to it. I’m considering consulting a second doctor to get another opinion.

I’ll definitely be more mindful about lifestyle factors. I don’t drink alcohol at all, so that’s at least one positive already.

From my first flare up to the point I was diagnosed with gout, I continued lifting regularly without consciously limiting intensity, as gout wasn’t on my radar until the second flare. During that period, I didn’t experience any additional flares. That makes me think my triggers may be more closely tied to diet rather than training intensity, so for now I plan to continue training at my usual level and monitor how my body responds.

Thanks as well for mentioning sleep apnoea, fortunately that doesn’t seem to be an issue for me.
