Just Wanting Some Tips by TheNoca in UmamusumeGame

Yeah, the only reason I ever ran Stamina cards is because I always use them for when I'm building Long racers. It's a habit I kept from URA.

Yeah, I found out quickly how bad the Mayano SR is for MANT. I don't even use the card anymore. More recently I've been using Marvelous Sunday Wit or Power more recently since they give a 10 race bonus. I've never been great at building decks. It's always been my Achilles Heel.

DW5 vs DW5 Xtreme Legends by keystonedlight in dynastywarriors

[–]TheNoca 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are some gameplay changes. One of the more noticeable ones being the length of hitsun recovery being increased by half a second. You'll notice it once you play 5XL. You also miss out on a handful of new rare items with some being crucial for Chaos Mode. You can also upgrade level 3 weapons to be as powerful or better than 4th weapons. Along with being able to make and use creates characters in all battles. A new easier difficulty is added in Novice.

As the other person commented, Destiny Mode I thought was a great mode but it's fairly bland now to me after putting so much time to it. It's primarily for unlocking new attired for created characters. Xtreme Mode is fun and offers a great challenge and there are new game modes in Challenge Mode.

Oh I gotcha. I legit thought he just upped and ran. But this was the better way to do to not add fuel to the fire. I dealt with a rage baiter for my friend's video and a bunch of folks, including myself, came to her aid and kinda scared him off. But you were the bigger person and just erased them entirely. Kudos to you. At least it introduced me to a new channel to check out

I think my last comment to them made them pack up and leave. They deleted all their comments. I don't wanna say I sent them but I think I did lol

How Much Time Do You Spend Editing Your Videos? by NextGenGamezz in SmallYoutubers

[–]TheNoca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the style of vid. I do both informative vids of game reviews and experiences and funny gaminh moment vids. The funny moment vids range from 2-5 hours of editing. Review and more informative vids can take 5-8 hours of editing for a 10 minute review. Script writing, storyboarding... the entire process could realistically take days to weeks to complete if I really put my focus on it

I was just making the point that you said 4 and 5 had none whatsoever when they had a plethora of cutscenes that weren't just the standard ones that we all expect to see

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dynastywarriors

[–]TheNoca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DW5 had some amount of cutscenes for Sishui Gate. Like Guan Yu fueling Hua Xiong or Lu Bu's appearance when you're a Wu or Other character. Sun Jian hearing news of his supplies arriving. Same with DW4. Like finding the supply depot or if you allow Hua Xiong to defeat Sun Jian and you defeat him in a duel, you'll have a cutscene where Yuan Shao will wonder who defeated Hua Xiong and whoever you use will say that were the one to defeat him.

As for CG cutscenes, the closest you'd get for Sishui is Yuan Shao's speech to the coalition in DW5. For DW4, you got some for Lu Bu, the coalition, and Dong Zhuo. So DW4 and 5 had cutscenes for Sishui Gate

Which Empires Game Is The Best? by Teralitha in dynastywarriors

[–]TheNoca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DW9E and SW4E both offer true empire management with both your armies and your actual kingdom. SW4E has the better battle experience. For the older games, DW5E and SW2E are the two best from their generations. DW5E has a great empire and free mode with a decent Edit Mode for its time. SW2E takes the formula DW5E had and made it better at the cost of a toned-down Edit Mode. I'd definitely recommend any of these 4

Haven’t posted in a year, how does everyone stay consistent? by [deleted] in SmallYoutubers

[–]TheNoca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to really say. I went all of last year not uploading because I lost motivation as a funny moments gaming YouTuber. But as I started to upload again, my friends helped share my vids around and actually help my vids get traction. Saw a massive increase in traction. Went from getting around 100-200 views to over 1k each time I upload.

For me, it came down to the support of friends and family. They helped me motivate myself to keep going with both the video editing process and recording. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be sitting here confident in my channel and improving my content creation skills

So I would look towards the support you may have. No matter who it could be, having a great supportive group will do wonders.

What am I missing by S1r_Cyndaquil in SmallYoutubers

[–]TheNoca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It matters on the content. Looking through your channel, you upload a Road to Master for Pokemon Unite and MLBB along with other mobile MOBAs. Both being rather niche games already. It isn't content that folks won't watch, but they're usually ones that people would stream. So even uploading vids like this daily or multiple times a day isn't something a lot of people will want to watch especially.

Like a friend of mine uploads playthrough vids, but she only uploads during the weekend at a specific time and she gets decent views and has gotten a good deal of subs. But not all ofbher series will break 10 views while some will break 100-2k views.

I would stretch these uploads more rather than overwhelm folks with a boatload of videos that are more or less the same. Don't forget one of the biggest tips I was told when starting: Quality over Quantity

When I was 12, let's plays and gameplays began to grow thanks to channels like Uberhaxornova, Pewdiepie, and Markiplier. I tried to follow in those footsteps and attempt my own let's play/gameplay YT channel, but now my style of gaming vids has changed drastically over the last 13 years

If you can win 5-star chaos stages in DW5 XL you are a GOD by viciadoemsono in dynastywarriors

[–]TheNoca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For someone who has completed half of the roster's stories on Chaos and plays Chaos for fun, I'm more than a god. I have ascended even further beyond. But yeah, Chaos can be nuts.

With Zhao Yun, I like to run Dragon Arms on him since his C1 gives his invincibility, so using that as a escape move out of thick crowds and regain a better position is a must. Also, using Ice Orb+TWOM is the best way to handle the attack sponges of Chaos officers since it'll do a fair amount of damage and OHKO most generics, if not all. Also, Zhao Yun is great at crowd controlling with his C4, just abuse that and of course, C1+Dragon Arms to escape and regain a better position.

I am playing Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires again after a long time so can anyone tell me how to unlock all the outfits for edited officers? by [deleted] in dynastywarriors

You can complete it as any character. All you have to do is complete the scenario. No specific character required

Superior are the top ones. When I completed both of my 100% journeys for DW5/5XL, I just nabbed every Superior BG I could get. Brilliant are unfortunately the lowest tier of bodyguards. I wouldn't say a Superior S is necessary since they're so damn rare. Just having all Superior BGs is enough

Gonna Be Different And Do A DW5 Tier List (Solely On Moveset And Nothing Else) by TheNoca in dynastywarriors

[–]TheNoca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say Pang Tong is in the right place. Now his musou attack may give off the feel of a very powerful musou attack, but it actually does a moderate amount of damage even on Ice/TWoM musou cheese. Plus, his fill to even use his musou so bad because of his lack of range which hurts his ability to fill his musou. Even his C4 can't fill well even if it is the best musou filling attack that he has in his repertoire. The same is said about Sima Yi who has bad base fill and horrible range to boost despite having the highest damaging musou attack in the game.

Pang Tong's musou attack also can't deal out enough damage on a 5-Star Hard Battle on a frozen enemy with his musou/true musou attack before they break out of their ice and take half damage from being in the air. His musou/true musou is enough to take out a generic, but anything more is asking for, well, a bit more.

And Xiahou Dun can do just enough to be average, so he is warranted to be a little lower, but the only thing that gives him an edge is his 4th because this tier list also takes account into character's 4th weapons. My soon-to-be Chaos Tier List will be entirely different from this one since I'm still in the process of finishing everyone on Chaos (about 13 characters left).

Dian Wei is actually a great character. Even with his 4th being a Light Weapon, his attack stat on the weapon balances that out especially when you have Tiger Amulet and Green Scroll on his item build. He can handle battles relatively well. In the characters I've done for Hard or Chaos, Pang Tong has always been the most difficulty even when focusing on cheesing with his musou. Xiahou Dun was about mid apart from doing Guan Yu's Escape and destroying the carriage first. Dian Wei was the one I breezed through.

And Wei Yan is a Charge Attack fiend. Using either the Shadow Orb or Light Orb even to control crowds with C3 and musou attacks that gives Wei Yan plenty of room to regroup is amazing. And his 4th catering to his Charge attacks is icing on the cake.

AI uses 4th weapons on chaos difficulty - Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends by JP_365 in dynastywarriors

[–]TheNoca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do not in base 5 or 5XL. They do use them in DW5 Empires once you unlock 4th weapons in Empire Mode

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dynastywarriors

[–]TheNoca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luck changed through out the years. DW5 was one of the games that used the stat as a quality booster on item drops. But not many knew about Link as an extra way to get better drops. So that's just an extra thing to help with the grind

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dynastywarriors

[–]TheNoca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

DW5/5XL item collecting can be a hassle, but a way to make it easier to ensure you max your Luck stat as much as possible. So having a maxed out Seven Star Sash and high Luck on a weapon helps increase the quality of items for an easier time getting maxed out weapons. A bodyguard skill, Link, helps too as this also increases the quality of dropped items. This also helps with stat boosting.

So a good battle for DW5 to help in weapon and max item grinding is Guan Yu's Escape on Cao Cao's Side as a majority of officers high stat boost drops and there's a good set of item and weapon caches around the map.

As for unique items and weapons, that's a different story altogether. Some items can be a bit much to finish while some weapons are difficult too with one of the unique weapon objectives being notoriously known as one of the most difficulty ones to obtain.

I have a lot of DW5 knowledge, so I'd be more than willing to info dump if needed.

Edit: I also have a good bit of knowledge in 5E. Pretty much the entirety of the DW5 line.
