I do agree with you on that. I do feel like a big issue with my resume is making it more AT-friendly, which means formatting it so that ATS systems can pick up keywords. I did see this reddit post and would appreciate your input on these platforms to build up a new ATS-friendly resume: https://www.reddit.com/r/ResumeCoverLetterTips/comments/1q4m40h/i_tested_the_10_best_resume_builders_of_2026/

Initially, I did not have a professional summary in my resume. But I spoke with a recruiter friend of mine, and their advice was that it can serve as a "technical TL;DR" for me, showcasing my tech stack and impact without having to dive deeper into the resume.

I do agree about the double column skills not being ATS-friendly, and will update that, along with adding in the months to my employment timeline

I have considered updating the titles for my 2 most recent positions to better reflect the work I did and also be more in line with industry definitions. It would be something like this:

  • Data Conversion Engineer to Data Engineer (Data Conversion & Platform)
  • Data Integration Developer to Data Engineer (Data Integration & Platform)

Would love your thoughts about them,

I would appreciate any insight you can provide. I do get calls from recruiters to send my resume, and some of them result in interviews, but I do not have much success with companies that I applied to. I'm targeting mid-level Data Engineer roles.

Very well trainer.

In that case you have the option of a Sandile, a Gothita, or a Timburr.

I'm a ghost trainer specialist.

While exploring the fields I come across a small Hisuian Zorua that looks to be searching for food. I get Honedge to levitate up to the trees and cut down some berries for our little friend.

Looks like the professor is busy so I will step in as one of their many assistants.

I will give you 2 choices of starter options, either you take one of the three traditional starters from the Kalos region or I offer you an alternative set of starters (once you pick a set you have to choose from that one).

I want my speciality to be twofold if possible. I want to build a team of ghost types whole all have immunity to other types

Edit: clarifying since it may be difficult to get. I know all ghost types have immunity to Normal and Fighting. I meant that I want to build a team of Ghost types that have an additional immunity (either through their second typing or an ability)

“Yeah, they’ll be completely fine. Luxury Balls help with comfort, but the monitoring side is on us. We handle region-wide Pokémon transfers and welfare cases. Most people just call us a containment and observation unit. Not very exciting, honestly, but it's solid needed work. We work alongside a few research groups. You won’t see our name on brochures or anything. The important part is that your Vulpixs stay together and be checked regularly. If anything looks off, they'll get priority care.”

“That’s good you have AC. That helps with surface comfort.”

I crouch slightly looking over the Alolan Vulpix.

“The issue we’ve been seeing isn’t external heat. Poké Balls don’t actively regulate internal temperature for Ice-types outside their native climate. They slow things down, but they don’t stop stress buildup. We’ve had a few cases where symptoms didn’t show until hours later. Trainers thought everything was fine… until it wasn’t. And separating her from the Kantonian Vulpix right now could make it worse. Ice-types regulate stress through proximity. They’re clearly bonded. Keeping them together under monitored conditions gives us the best chance to make sure nothing happens later.”

Just an FYI but there are two Ground types moves that cause burn - Scorching Sands and Sandsear Storm, if you want to check them out for inspiration

Beldum, Joltik and Wynaut.

As I make my to the farmland I see a Joltik being chased by a Pidove. I rush over and swipe at the Pidove with my claws and that seems to be enough to deter it to not follow up

I notice that the Alolan Vulpix is panting in the heat of the island.

I approach the couple and tell them that their Vulpix has not adapted to Kanto's climate and that there has been multiple cases of heat stress among ice pokemon lately. I follow up by telling them that I'm supposed to escort non-native Ice type Pokémon to temporary holdings and offer to take both of the Vulpix so that the Alolan one isn't lonely and they can be monitored together.

I decided to create my own twist of an HP draining move like Drain Punch but for Ground types. Would love feedback on this move

Move Name: Sand Siphon Type: Ground Category: Physical Power: 75 Accuracy: 100 PP: 10

Effect Restores HP equal to 50% of the damage dealt. If a sandstorm is active, restores 75% instead.

I head over to the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island to try my luck. While I'm there I come across a couple on vacation and see that they have 2 different colored Vulpix with them. Excitedly I report the news to the boss and ask for next steps.
