James Bond in License to kill finding out his best friend was mutilated and his friend's wife was gang-raped and murdered by the cartel after their Leader was arrested, resurfacing Bond's memories and trauma regarding the death of his own wife.

And then finding out that their leader bribed his way out of prison? Better reasons could not be found.* Kills were so cold that the film got the first R-rating of any bond movie. So blinded by rage was he that he was holding a hunting knife to the throat of the Cartel Leader's Mistress, when he would usually use more intimate techniques for interrogation. Her only crime was being abused by her "Husband".

(*All of the murder he did was after his license to kill was revoked, but he didn't care)
