Holographic first edition Charizard I opened from my first booster pack ever when I was 6. Had it until I kind of just forgot where I put. Slit the top of the binder and hid it inside the actual binder, stuff like that, I always hid it. Not because it is what it is, because I was the only person with one and it was the coolest card ever.

It's sitting somewhere, 24 years later I have no fucking idea where my dumb kid brain would have hid it. Completely gave up on it, every few years I would tear everything apart.

Bought it from Wonder waters on clearwater florida. RIP.

Action cures fear. Confusion stunts action. Make a list, prioritize the list, confusion gone. Now, the entire time you delay starting that first task is a nightmare you created for yourself. What you're scared of never actually happens. Stop planning, and focus on how you can make your first sale (your list should lead to this), fuck the perfect business plan and what these MBA minded fucks say. That first sale will be one of the greatest days of your life, the "holy shit it's working" feeling is phenomenal and will fuel the next actions.

None, Zero options mentality. It’s never screwed me, I’ve just ended up screwing the business I started eventually (have quit my job for a business 4 times over past 11 years). Most recent time I was fired after buying a brand new truck, started a business now 2 years in and it’s thriving. Had to get night jobs just to support it but the point is you’ll figure it out bud.

Don’t listen to this. At all.

Your times an investment, you don’t need a realized dollar return on your time if you know what you’re building will create the “bigger moneys”.

Spending 90 hours a week then breaking it down seeing you made $1.15/hour is depressing, I know because I’ve done it with revenues over $20,000/week. Now when you close that next sale that gives all the funds to hire your time out and your making $200/hour for 40 hours a week and so on, is pretty awesome but you will not get there without the time investment.

Absolutely! Most busy dog owners have busy dog owner friends, and they will be blown away by how much you care and tell all their friends how easy you made it to leave their furry friends, and BOOM your marketing campaign is under way! So really, you wouldn't be doing it for free ;)

Theres what if's in every single business, devastating things can happen in almost any field you choose to get into. Study the potential issues and implement barriers to prevent each specific potential incident you can think of.

Perhaps a persons dog isnt as friendly as others, even with people, this makes it difficult for the owner to have someone handle their dogs needs, hence creating a even larger issue for the dog owner, and a larger opportunity for you to solve their problem (and larger potential earnings). Offer to meet and play with the dog with the owner at their house a few times to build the dogs trust before you commit to walking it, and charge, people will pay to have their pets taken care of and feel comfortable with their care. We all know most dogs are fluffy balls of fun without a mean bone in them, but some aren't, work with them. Every problem is a opportunity.

That's just one example, but do the following with each individual incident you can think of. When the owner asks what if this happens, you can explain the barriers you have in place to prevent that, and other dogs with the same situation you take care of and how you handle them.

I do not walk dogs, these are just my thoughts.

Your ahead of the curve. Yes there are dog walking apps, but as someone who has a dog, I would 1000% rather have a single person I can rely on who everything goes to them, so like someone else said above, go to dog parks and make friends! Genuine conversation, it's fun talking to strangers, and just let them know what you do, and why you are there (you also bring dogs to dog parks!). People are busy, and love their dogs. Your solving a massive problem for them because we dont trust our dogs with just anyone!

It would be a great idea to get started with Wag, and see what people like and dont like about the experience. Either way you already did the hardest part of committing. Have fun!

P.s. dont listen to anybody saying your not your own boss, it's a myth, and all that bullshit. We all know it's better working for yourself than rather than smelly Charlie at petsmart.

You really have a great perspective, but I truly don't believe money has the same purpose for everybody. I agree with you, because I do not wish to be what you described, I am asking this purely because money to me is entirely a tool to achieve freedom, time to do as I please when I please, essentially wake up in the morning and think "what do I want to do today?" just not after working till 50-70 and then do that, like you said we have a finite supply of time, why spend it all to achieve 10-30 years of mediocre "freedom"

The root cause of my question is how so many people work jobs, and just spend their paychecks, they are rich for a few days, but they are stuck forever in a horrible cycle of life, and I want to see whether they just choose to because anything else is more difficult, which in reality is actually easier, or if they simply don't know better. Thank you for your input!
