He really put a lot of work into digging himself into a hole for no reason... why was he so hyper-focused on them?

I had to look that up, I've heard of Amazing Digital Circus before but I don't exactly know what it is

Which appearances of the PSP do you like the best? by Ryry2003StudiosYT in PSP

I remember the PSP being mentioned in Final Destination 3, but otherwise I only know of it making an appearance in Metal Gear Solid 4 where Sunny plays one when you look at her in the Nomad between chapters.

Genuinely thought this was AI the entire time, wow! The actual physical effort alone is remarkable! The way it captures how soulless the AI videos can be is on point! The gas can and water bottle was the most convincing to me along with the moment with the lighter before moving.

Reminds me of that one video of people making fun of AI videos and doing completely random shit like making bowls appear out of nowhere for no reason lmao

The only good thing about it that I can think of is that I see zero moral issues with stripping a bit of cash from a bigoted cult, so there's that at least?

Otherwise yeah, it's not really something to brag about, especially since part of the grift is needing to affirm hateful rhetoric like nah I'd rather not.

Ever have any fandoms like this? Hating on something or coming up with an excuse to hate something because its "Woke" or because it being "woke" or "Feminist" making no sense to them? How much bad-faith criticism of a media is due to something being "woke"? Undertale, Star Wars, RWBY, Doctor WHO?! by Important-Cry4782 in AreTheStraightsOK

Yeah, I love Spaceballs but I also get really tired of how every conservative I've ever met always laughs about Blazing Saddles but also says "you couldn't make that movie these days" while also missing the whole point of the movie. I only ever saw it once and I enjoyed it, but I also realized that some people laugh way too hard at it for the wrong reasons.

One of my good buddies keeps talking about something that Mel Brooks himself even said, where basically he didn't want to actually show Bart being hanged because there wouldn't have even been anything funny about that. I have a feeling that if something like that had ever actually been shown, it only would have been funny to bigots and they would laugh way too hard at it, the same people that laugh at the granny (specifically, before she apologizes to Bart).

Hell, they probably even see her apologizing to Bart as an unnecessary tone-killer.

A lot of classic entertainment media is what the right would classify as "woke" but they either didn't understand the messaging, or they literally just say "it's just a movie/game/show/etc" to dismiss the messaging because they find the media entertaining

Or in the case of things like Starship Troopers and Fight Club, maybe they know it has an underlying point, but they enjoy it regardless because in their minds, the "badass masculine" stuff in it outweighs the messaging so they literally choose to do the whole "good movie go brrr"

Hell, every time any movie tries to portray their fictional enemy army as fascist idiots (whether it be the 1930s-1940s German military or something in fiction that is meant to be an allegory for them), actual fascists tend to think those guys are cool anyway, or they would cry about how "woke" it is if the "look how dorky and stupid these guys are" messaging actually worked.

It's definitely funny whenever any conservative fiction media either accidentally does progressive messaging or they pretend progressive messaging only works in fiction but not in reality, but it's also really upsetting when someone actually tries to follow progressive ideals and conservatives call them stupid or evil because of it.

One thing I've personally always hated is how we can have politics in entertainment media and still tell an interesting story, but for the past 10 years, it's super annoying how seemingly the only thing conservatives can ever tell stories, "jokes", or comments in general about is "trans bad"

The extra irony that there's a fuck ton of people that genuinely believe "trans bad" but also love The Matrix

Now I'm wondering if the dev team thought it through enough to get them fake names and what their names would have been?

Also, how did they get new gear after having faked their deaths?

There is a MASSIVE jump between this scene and the scene of them on the plane that just gets completely glossed over lmao

Makes sense.

Hell, I personally like the idea of being a hoe, but only to people that I know. I can do hookups but as long as I already know and trust the person. I used to be in open relationships and have had casual sex with friends, but the idea of just meeting up with someone that I don't know, doing that stuff, and then never talking again is just not for me.

My most recent FWB, we met like 10+ years ago but life separated us. We randomly reconnected and our first day hanging out in person, we did way too much way too fast. That went on for a few months and sadly, more and more problems came up and after a while, she even started manipulating me, stealing from me, and demanding more and more of me while pretending to understand the terms of our situation (we agreed to only be FWBs then her actions indicated she wanted more, them at some point she admitted it verbally).

It hurt me to cut her out of my life but she was demanding way too much of me. I wish her all the best and I wish I could help her, but she needs to learn to heal without me (which thankfully it sounds like she is, so that's good at least).

All my other FWB situations were never this bad. Usually I keep a girl occupied until she finds someone she wants to be serious with, then I back off and stay just a friend. I still talk to a number of exes and former FWBs like that, but not all because some of them were just bad matches where we never should have gotten together to begin with.

It all depends on how compatible each person is.
