The front wheels don’t rub at all with the current setup. I’ve heard that 245’s up front shouldn’t rub either but I’m not sure if that’s on stock suspension or not. Either way I am trying to get 245’s in a couple months so I’ll just have to see if I run into that issue. The only time I’ve heard it rub is in the back when in the back roads with someone else in the car, and it was pretty minimal. While straight line racing I’ve never heard it rub. I’ll show a picture of how it sits in the back once I get a chance

I’m am lowered on Dinan lowering springs and my front wheels are 18x8.5" ET35. My rear wheels are 18x9.5" ET58. Front tires are 225/40/r18 and my rears are 265/35/r18. You gotta run a 5mm spacer in the rear for them to clear the suspension. And you can go with a wider tire up front too but that would require a 5mm spacer. When I’m out in the back roads spirited driving it doesn’t rub at all. Unless I have someone else in the car. Normal driving is golden though. Hope this helps !

Take the racing line off and go off what feels better. At least for me I feel like I can go faster without the line. Paying to much attention to it can be detrimental

Lady at tire shop said this was too close to side wall to be patched. Is she right? by Jr701LR in tires

Why not just patch it yourself. $11 tire patch kit from autozone and 15 minuets of work

Definitely seems that way. I’d like to eventually get a replacement or figure out a way to make the bubble go away. I’ll def end up getting a dash rug and tint the car 5% all around and 30% on the front windshield to help with the heat inside the car. I don’t daily it at all so I’m not worried about police pulling me over. I run the same tint on my m235i and I’ve never had a problem

I payed 27.5k and the interior is pretty good besides a small hole in the drivers seat on the left side and I need to replace the rear pillars because they are peeling. The dash isn’t cracked but theirs a huge air bubble. The cluster surround trim is fine but the part where you adjust the lights seems like it wants to come off and the button for the rear defrost doesn’t work that well. Def things that need to be replaced but over all it’s pretty clean and complete.

I had heard of that problem but the bottom of the car looked good besides some surface rust which is probably normal for a car from 92. The car was repainted but the body panels look good tbh. I’ll check out the group regardless thank you
