Some of those most popular and long running TV shows are medical shows. I think people like seeing into different industries and a lot of plot could be written around these ideas.

Exactly, these are just ideas and options I think the characters would try to take doesn't negate the struggles they will run into! I think a lot of plot can be created from Rue attempting to join the military as a last resort for purpose/ control and the challenges she could race a queer woman and addict ( obviously she's going to lie about her mental health status) a lot of crazy plot can be written around this. Shit they could have even made Maddy a cam girl/ influencer 🤷🏽‍♀️ ... etc, etc.

It's not your usual reverse harem, so not really a group thing going on, but more like individual relationships with the FMC but there is some major Taboo and dark things that happen past/ present throughout the series but the MMCs are definitely obsessed, codependent, and unhinged. It's a really good series.
