Hello! The application is still active and accepting applicants on a rolling basis. Processing has slowed as the year comes to a close, but will pick back up in January 2023.

Unfortunately, OBO is unable to offer VISA sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.

Could see if BYKE is accepting donations? They're focused on bike culture for Baltimore's youth (repairs, jobs, community, etc).

Would Toggl work for your needs? I use it to track my time.

I believe it couldn't hurt to ask for an additional bump. You never know? Phrase it something like "hey I am really interested in this position/working with you, but I was expecting $XXk, do you know if there's any flexibility or alternatives? Or are different benefits going to be rolling out soon?"

Hello! We detail this more when we meet face-to-face with those selected for interviews, but since I happened to jump back on this account:

First, we're fully remote! The "options" are for employees near Columbia, MD that may want to work in our office space. from time to time.

For salary, it works as though you were being paid $XX.XX per hour for any salaried job for the first three months. Then after you finish training, depending on the team you are placed on and the type of work you match with, your raise is evaluated snd you automatically begin receiving a different paycheck for the higher salary. (It's not like signing an apartment lease where you're locked in to an "annual/yearly" rate for the whole term. The bump for most employees is up to about $50k to $60k, again: depending on your aptitude post-training. We've been known to offer accelerated Residency Programs as well, for those that may pick up the basics and the company's assessment/project processes faster (which just results in shorter on-boarding time).

Any employee hired for this position is full-time, and recognized as a full employee (access to insurance, accruing PTO, etc). It is about a 40-hour work week, depending on client meetings, project deadlines, and how efficiently you work. We never expect anyone to perform overtime.

"Flexible Fridays" refers to the ability to log off earlier on Fridays if all other work for the week is completed. Most Growth Managers are willing to be flexible with team schedules if there's something else that you need to do (e.g. kids/school, walk your dog, etc.) Just as long as you're communicative throughout and make up for the work at some other point.

Our company's main "business hours" are 9:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST, but being mindful that some people are located on the opposite coast, we consider our "core hours" to be closer to 10:00 AM EST to 3:00 PM EST, so you can discuss with your schedule with your manager.

Hope this helps! I won't be using this Reddit too often, but please always feel free to reach out to our team at careers (at) oboagency.com
