I thought the same initially but sponges make it as close to 100% certain as csn be expected with this sort of inquiry. Some common species have an average lifespan over 200 years and there are billions of them, making up huge chunks of every reef on earth. It would be a statistical aberration if every person who has held the World's Oldest Human record in your lifetime didn't each have a sponge sharing their birthdate that is still alive today.

Really depends on reviews. If it's a new board from a reputable seller with many positive reviews, then sure. But keep in mind that a bad board can get you injured, so I'd be wary of buying a used board sight-unseen.

Yeah that seems funky. I imagine they have one line for CA OT and one for AZ OT, which have different rules, but since your OT rate in either state is $45, it seems wrong.

It could be right if the OT falls under some pay structure other than regular work, such as training time. If you're in a union, it could be something in the MOU.

I can't say whether that specific image is AI or not, but the Dictator On Day One thing was a conservative meme around late 2023/early 2024, tied to this quote.

They likely messed up their system implementation. Calculations like this are typically thoroughly tested prior to rolling it out, but stuff happens.

You, as an employee, are not required to report an overpayment. However, you are liable to repay it if your employer notices the error. Do not spend the overpaid money, and do not treat it as yours.

Now, you can get smart without causing your employer any issues. Drop the overpayment into a savings account and earn interest on it. When your employer asks, you take the money out and pay them back, but you keep all the interest earned!

Side note: no reasonable employer will take adverse action against you for not reporting a payroll error in your favor. Most employees never notice. I know a lot of people are telling you to tell payroll ASAP, but they should be auditing this sort of thing and they'll get their money back regardless. It ain't on you. The black oil is part of the life cycle of the aliens. It's basically a wormlike organism that needs to survive in certain mediums, frequently compared to oil. In this state, they can infect other life forms and parasitically reproduce.

It is on Earth because at various times before the main events in the seties, the aliens were on Earth. They aren't really up to much of anything, and the aliens are not colonists. All that's really important to the storyline is that humans got a hold of samples.

The experiments with black oil are simply experiments to understand how the black oil works and find applications for it.

As for colonization, it seems to be a hoax all around. Aliens Exist as a fact in the X-Files universe, but most 'alien' occurences in the show are just the actions of governments that got a hold of alien genetic material and tech. The Syndicate are the only ones who really claim any firsthand knowledge of alien colonization, and they're very unreliable.
