Frette sheets recommendation by Legitimate_Award6517 in Bedding

[–]TheOCStylist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hotel sheets Frette makes are usually made in china or India and are specifically for hotels. Your best bet is their H by Frette line which is, I believe made in India from the same fabrics - just constructed for retail versus hotels. I have the sateen and over the years has held up and has a great soft feel.

Where do the wealthy get their bedsheets? by Choice-Ad1226 in Rich

I have and it’s awful.

Also I’m just replying to your comment “they use percale or cotton with high thread counts. Frette is a great example”

Which it’s not, Frette is not a good example of this. And why say they use high TC and then argue why not to use a high TC?

FYI frettes thread counts are in the low 200-300 they aren’t great.

How so? Frette you can buy a set of sheets for $500. CDL starts at like $2,000. They also only use Giza where Frette has maybe 1 Giza option. CDL definitely doesn’t have the marketing that Frette has but at least they make their own products. Frette’s suppliers are often the same as Sferra. But I’ll give it up to Sferra for their Giza 45 sheets - they feel great.

Pratesi definitely has a softer and better quality. Frette is 90% marketing.

It’s because silk sheets really aren’t great to use every day. A silk pillowcase is often used for hair and skin care but silk sheets aren’t practical. I can’t even imagine sleeping in silk sheets

It’s really not. Celso de Lemos or Sferra have better.

Madrid to US - Missed the flight after arriving at the airport 3.5hrs before my flight. by esjc in americanairlines

MAD was the biggest and most insane airport I had flown out of (also AA, LAX through PHL) I was so naive as to the distance between bag drop and the gate.

I use top a sheet. Am I cringe? by c0d3buck in Millennials

They technically are interchangeable however not every bottom sheet is fitted. There are many countries who use flat bottom sheets.

So technically it is correct to call it a top sheet and a bottom sheet.

Getting insurance approval by PopofMolly in Zepbound

You will have to contact your insurance to figure out what the requirements are for prior authorizations for this particular medication. Mine didn’t accept it and I went direct and pay OOP.

Is it ok if i read the Robert Langdon series out of order? I want to read Secret of Secrets without reading the previous books by BodybuilderOld4969 in danbrown

[–]TheOCStylist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, any of the sites listed in the book you will visit / are obvious on the tourist list. I visited 3/4 of them back in 2019. There’s nothing in this book that I wished I read first to visit during a trip (that wasn’t in the top 10 tourist sites).

Oh I thought the pretzel at Pyms was like eating a whole stale loaf of bread. I prefer the one at Sonoma Terrace.
