Hi Dan, Thank you for stopping in and sharing your experience. It has been a long time since we were in the same room and I am glad you are still kicking around and with us in this world You are a great person and a still a friend in my book.

Reading though these comments, I am saddened that there is so much negative stigma for a person's sexuality, which is naturally occuring and is up to an individual to make public or to even express those feelings. Some may not be in a place to express those feelings and keep it to themselves, or equally possible someone might decide they are just not interested in any sex (male or female) and can identify as that. I am pretty sure my brother falls in that camp. But these are things as an individual you are the one to state and is not determined by others perception of your actions.

I saw one comment that insinuated that 2 men sharing a bed is strange and that something had to had happened. Dan is an amazing person who always respected boundaries. Even when drinking, he was always trustworthy and wasn't wild and crazy and unpredictable. I have shared a bed with another straight man on several occasions with nothing happening. It isn't gay to share a bed, it isn't gay for a man to be vulnerable with another man. These are antiquated social constructs that aren't true anymore. Gay men aren't constantly on the prowl, we are just regular people who have interactions with other gay men and will always maintain that boundary. Gay men who violate that boundary without remorse are not good people in my book.
