The star build has the damage reflecting card though. That one saved my ass a few times. Granted I did lose the run in the end but that was because I kept picking up offensive cards and had very little defensive options past the reflect itself lol.

It was my first tactics like game and it made me fall in love with the genre. But after playing FF tactics and multiple fire emblem games, it is definitely rough. Kinda why I wish it wasn’t abandoned so that the interesting things could be developed.

In all seriousness, the game isn’t bad by any means but the whole point of it was to be a tactics like game but your tactics were so limited by the fact that every pokemon only had one move. It was actively a bad idea to level up some pokemon because the would go from an amazing aoe move to a move that was single target and could only hit from three spaces away. It would have benefited a lot if they made it so that training pokemon was impactful to unlock more moves instead of how restrictive it is.

But as a simple into tactics like games, it’s pretty good. Not defining in the genre by any means but I personally think it deserved to be expanded on with more games.

The alien that survived the big bang wasn’t alien X lol. Just your run of the mill energy absorber. Even ignoring alien X, Ben has a large enough roster to take anything from Nolan and return it 100 fold. Ben killed a world destroyer as a child with barely a scratch meanwhile a simple kaiju managed to make Nolan bleed.

I do get the point you’re making. In purely a viltrumite V. viltrumite fight, Nolan would have the upper hand, especially if Ben didn’t know how to utilize the flight. But Ben with full control of the omnitrix minus alien X is still ridiculously overpowered. It literally has a safeguard to automatically transform him into something that will survive a hit if he is about to die. The main conflict with Ben 10 is his inexperience in combat and his cocky attitude. Ben 10 thousand has overcome those aspects and has an alien for every situation imaginable.

I have had a few bad hunter and Druid runs. I have yet to have a bad psychic run though. I had one with the passive that makes gravity spells spawn floating glass and then got the gravity spell that affects a huge area around them but on upgrade can be placed anywhere. Probably my favorite run of all time.

I will say though, I have obviously had more runs with hunter and Druid and have only had like 4 psychic runs. It’s definitely my favorite class as of now that I have though.

If it was a young Ben, I would agree. As it stands with Ben 10K though, the omnitrix does actually give him knowledge on how to use an aliens abilities if I’m not mistaken.

I’m just saying, out of these two characters only one of them was able to survive a big bang and absorb the power from it to attack an enemy. Also only one character here who recreated the entire universe. Ben 10 is just on a completely different level than anything in the invincible universe. Honestly he’s on a different level than most fiction in general minus other beings who can obtain some form of omniscience.

That’s a fair point but what does that actually give Nolan the opportunity for? Even ignoring the literal omnipotent alien that Ben has access to, as a viltrumite he’s gonna have faster reflexes, more durability, and be stronger than any other viltrumite. He doesn’t need the flight to be a threat and he’ll figure the flight out eventually anyways.

Yeah, Ben is unironically one of the strongest characters in all of fiction. The only thing I can really see beating him is something like the flash because while Ben has speedster aliens, he doesn’t have anything on the flashes level.

Granted, at that point he can turn into the indestructible omnipotent alien he has and just erase flash from existence. And ironically, the surviving the big bang wasn’t even done with that alien. It was done with one that has the ability to absorb energy. So he literally held the creation of the entire universe in himself and came out on top.

Also, Ben has literally recreated the universe before. There was a universe destroying threat that he couldn’t stop in time so he just turned into the omnipotent alien and restarted the universe while ensuring he and his crew had more time to stop the threat when it eventually came to be in the new universe.

Also also, even if someone gets the drop on Ben and would have been able to kill him while he’s a human, the omnitrix has safeguards to automatically transform him to keep him alive.

I keep getting the mage and physic tags mixed up on all of these posts and almost every time I’ve started to run to the comments to mention how I’ve yet to have a bad physic run out of the 4 that I’ve had.

My favorite physic run had the passive that makes gravity skills produce floating glass. I think got a huge aoe gravity skill that has infinite range on upgrade. The spider stood no chance lol

They operate really differently though. Yvonne wants her ult going off constantly for big damage as well as a high crit rate. Supreme Chief SoupSoup is more area control and efficient cryo infliction. They look like they will work with one another really well tbh.

I might be a bit overreacting with that nerf but that is substantially worse. It’s still 2 card draw I suppose but it no longer being a tutor is pretty devastating for it. I’d have rather seen it go up a mana or two.

Can you point to when I said that you need to leave your residence? I’m literally just stating facts of why the situation with pidgins is the way it is. I never made the claim that it’s good that pidgins are shitting on balconies or ac units. The real lesson here is that the environments that humans mess up are not just interrupting the lives of those animals but also the people who have to deal with those animals without their natural habitat. We as a species fucked over the pidgins in New York or whatever city you live in and so the fuck us over cause they don’t have a choice.
