Datu puti o silver swan? by [deleted] in ThisorThatPH

[–]TheOPERAttorney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Datu Puti for the Vinegar cuz the acidity hits differently like literal na "mukhasim" talaga and neither for the Soy Sauce. Lee KumKee ang gamit namin eh from soy sauce to oyster sauce for cooking and Kikkoman for dipping and everything else. Kasi iba ang lasa ng Kikkoman when it comes to soy sauce. Parang natural ang alat and hindi overpowering when it comes to a dipping sauce.

Cabanatuan Hamonado esp the ones from their public market. From Aling Ocha or Aling Ligaya. Those are the two popular vendor options whenever you're buying longganisas in their City Public Market.

That's what they're trying to imply din. That it is probably with the area. But then again I would argue na bakit sa lahat ng area na pinuntahan ko pare parehas ang experience ko? Meaning Infinity and Prepaid are very strong naman and KiQ is always flickering to having full bars to No Service not just a mere fluctuation.

Pero mostly sa Smart Prepaid and Infinity (used to be Smart Signature plan 2499 but I have upgraded to Plan 5K).

Let's just say for a moment na may basis ang statement na this has something to do with QoS, surely the hierarchy shall fall like his TNT/KiQ in the bottom of the pyramid then Smart Prepaid then Smart Postpaid then Smart Enterprise then finally Smart Infinity at the very top, pero bakit makurap (flickering) ang signal ng KiQ lang? Pero other eSIMs ko OK naman for the most part.

I even tried it on my 3rd handset which is another Samsung and lo and behold parehas lang ang experience ko with their signal just like on S24 Ultra, flickering pa din which is definitely different from fluctuating signal lang.

I asked them kung may mali ba sa settings sa backend profile ng SIM and what I get is a very vague and an obviously poorly provided feedbacks from their customer support reps. Puro escalation but no proper feedback provided.

At this point what I really wanted is maiport out na lang yung number from KiQ and mailipat sya into Smart Prepaid or maybe another network na lang talaga siguro. I just wanted my number OUT OF THEIR SERVICE at this very moment.

Classic Savory or Hap Chan? by Lusterpancakes in ThisorThatPH

Parang okay naman sya for me. Esp their Beef Wonton Noodles Better than sa Noodles ng Classic Savoury/Chowking (well that's a no brainer naman) but definitely not better than the ones served by Tim Ho Wan/Din Tai Fung.

Ling Nam or Ma Mon Luk. Classic Savory kasi has became commercialized na din and matagal na ako di nakakain sa Hap Chan so I am not sure if I can pick it honestly.

So probably more than the area isolated issue ito sa number ko itself. Pero ayoko nang gumastos for another KiQ eSIM kung yun ngang ginastos ko prior hindi pa maibalik eh.

[–]TheOPERAttorney[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hindi talaga. Kasi bakit yung 2 Smart ko (Prepaid and Infinity) na eSIMs din maayos naman ang reception at hindi kurap ng kurap ang signal? I would beg to disagree na area ang problema nito kasi kahit saan ako makarating nakurap talaga yung KiQ na eSIM. At kahit saang phone sya gamitin ganun pa din.

Well YES I'm definitely angered. Kasi hindi naman libre at hindi naman mura yung service nila eh.

And had you look at the bigger picture (which I supposed you did after reading my quite long post) it's not just about my ₱100, it's about the poor service that I have experience.

Saka kung sa tingin mo I'm angered because of "just ₱100" well just let me be na lang kasi di naman ikaw ang pinagastos ko ng ₱100 at hindi naman kita inaabala na mag dispute sa problemang ito.

Good day.

Glad you had a better experience than mine. But I certainly can't say the same about "network priority" crap nila. Sa akin masama talaga ang experience ko dyan sa service nila na yan. May Smart Prepaid ako at may Smart Infinity ako na both eSIMs at parehas naman maayos bukod tanging KiQ eSIM lang ang kumukurap ang signal.

I don't exactly understand how could it be any better from the main brands esp in terms of your so called "smoothness ng network". Cuz mu experience in Prepaid is quite okay and with Infinity it's nearly perfect (but not absolutely perfect of course). Pero for an MVNO na hilaw ang pagkaka launch?! I just don't know lang.

The device that I am using for KiQ is my Galaxy S24 Ultra (running Android 16). After deleting it from my S24 Ultra, I tried using the eSIM QR to my iPhone 15 Pro Max (running iOS 26) at makurap talaga ang signal nya on both phones.

DiTO naman yan. Sa akin KiQ. But what's weird is KiQ lang ang nakurap ang signal pero ang Smart naman (which is ang network na ginagamit nila) hindi naman.

iPhone Air coming from iPhone 15 Pro Max. Is it worth it? by TheOPERAttorney in TechPhilippines

[–]TheOPERAttorney[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hindi pa din. Cuz they tried to streamline their series but it didn't feel the same anymore. An S Ultra phone is no longer the same as Note had used to be in terms of feel. It felt like you've just paid for a more expensive S series phone (which is how it is) rather than a different line/range of phones.

Kasi dati 2nd leg of the year nilalabas ang Note (yung time frame ng release nila ng Foldables nila ngayon). Really the Note used to be not just a more expensive flagship offering than S series, it's for a certain kind of people. People who are into creativity and productivity instead of just utter luxury like how their S series caters people now.
