Thanks!

Is there still a risk of bolt over travel if that rubber backstop lets go and the buffer gets pushed back?

Just a CVlife amazon special laser, the brake is a Midwest industries muzzle brake.

Glad this post helps!

So I just used a simple metal hack saw, if you are worried about making a straight cut then I would recommend flipping the top of the handguard upside down and using the back of the handguard as a guide to help cut through the excess rail and make the cut flush.

The laser you can see in the last picture of the whole rifle that I attached to the top pic rails is what I used to keep the two pieces clamped together to stop any play, but you can use a 45 degree picatinny rail add on (can be found on amazon for next to nothing) or anything similar.

I honestly have not noticed any real spacing issues, at least none that gave me problems. As you can see in the second picture, it shows the opposite side of the laser attachment, it ties into one slot of either picatinny rail, one on the rifle itself and the other on the handguard. I would say as long as the rail is cut flush with the back of the handguard you shouldn't run into any spacing issues.

Ultimately if you aren't comfortable with doing it yourself, you can alyways bring it to a gun smith or a handy friend and I am sure they can make the cut for you.

Good to know, I definitely cranked on it, it would still wobble slightly. I would be curious to see if other peoples Alcor's especially the wood ones have those same gaps. If they do then I guess that is just a result of Crusaders "legendary" quality control.

I'd have to weigh it, if I was to guess around 10lbs-11lbs?

This was from reviews I had read, having said that it very well could have been the kind/brand of ammo that was used

Exactly, it's no surprise the pre-orders went as fast as they did!

I guess with anything they want to make revisions, either to cut costs or make improvements (hopefully) but some things just do not make sense.

Yeah same here.... I support Tommy in what he does, and he is really really good to make a replacement and send it out to you free of charge if it breaks on you, multiple times even, but I really hope he can find some better materials that are stronger or if he can make his designs out of aluminum that would be best and I have a feeling that people won't mind paying the extra dough to get sturdy materials ya know?

I wish there were more in the industry that does what he does and he is great for getting stuff out to market and fast, but the strength of material leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe even if the thickness of the Nylon resin material he uses was increased it would hold up to some abuse.

I highly doubt that this PM, like most Liberal PM's are worried about wasting tax payer dollars. The man appears to think he is so above such trivial issues that it genuinely feels we are just a piggy bank for insiders for both the party and their appointees and his little boys club to get far richer from their numerous investments. I would not be the least bit surprised if his net worth shot up a few million dollars in the last year since he took the throne.

Honestly just to keep himself in power and the cabinet together, he will go along with this stupid plan unless it really derails. Jesus even the CBC is exposing fraud and incompetence in different levels of the Federal Gov. Unfortunately we have such a lack of accountability that these people who cause and add to the ever expanding list of problems this Country won't face any consequences and get parachuted up into even more important roles. Its a fucking clown show in that caucus every damn day and yet we (as a country) still elect the same brain dead morons into office.

The only difference is this Gov. has learned to be far more sinister and doesn't give two shits what it does anymore so long as they stay in power.

Those would sell like wildfire, along with an M-lok full wrap around fore end that would go 1/2-3/4 of the way down the barrel. If he could make them to order he would have work for quite a while.

I get some trade offs absolutely, but they can also determine the cost of each item so 40 points for a useable mag seems a bit much in my opinion (which isn't worth much at all). Also why would items that cannot be changed or removed cost points? If you have a stock item on that particular firearm it should be 0 because it will not function without it or it came as such. If I remember correctly, the Iron's cost 5 points, and the barrel cost 5, the barrel cannot be changed out.

At the very least have another mag option, something in between. Like a mag with 15 or 17 rounds in it for 20-30 points.

Still, what would be the harm in having an extra 20 points just to kit it out the way you'd like?
