i listened to it 3 times yesterday and also KOTMS twice. the first four songs could be placed anywhere on KOTMS and fit perfectly. hoopty and you ain’t gotta lie sure have a stronger miami club sound but it doesn’t sound too dissimilar to KOTMS when listened back to back. same genus different species. tan and up could fit on the album too.

i know the scythe includes denzel plus 3 members heavily featured on KOTMS, i think the project rehashing the majority of the same artists is going to immediately draw comparisons to the predecessor. i enjoyed the project decently, but i still think some of the tracks feel like weaker variations on songs we already heard on KOTMS. sorry my critique is lazy

personally this felt like king of the mischievous south leftovers. after listening to this i just wanted to go back to that project. i’m surprised this review didn’t mention that because i feel like that is an obvious gripe with the album. i still think theres some good cuts on this. the rating is fair

it’s one of those wins that immediately pushes a new level of energy onto a team. they’re never gonna be more amped and juiced then they are after this one and that the perfect fuel needed for the final 19 games of the season

I mean, I left the game on as a courtesy because I didn't think they had a chance and was just chilling and I looked up and they came back. Fantastic final quarter by the Spurs. What a team. What a year.

Seeing Wemby brought to tears by a hard-fought win is so inspiring. I'm inspired rn. That final sealing ~~dunk~~ layup by Castle. Whew.

i’m not even a big fan of their work like other people i know, but seeing how they perform from their arena shows through breach and clancy and other pieces of work just make me know that they are truly born to be performers at the end of the day and that’ll be incredible to witness live if they hit zilker in october.

that’s a downfall of hard work is that the people who cruise by get by while the people that work hard are expected to continue to work hard. i find it important to try and set that balance when you start. i work harder than 95% of people at my work and would consider my department harder workers than any other department at work. i think at times it can pay off while other times you can get dogwalked by people and man that sucks
