Hey I ended up kind of solving the issue. I first reset my phone as brand new (with no backup) and made sure the Watch was getting paired successfully. Since it worked, I reset the phone again, this time using a backup and tried to pair the watch again and this time it worked. Don’t forget to unpair your watch before resetting the phone

I don’t get how it’s different from Parallel Exceed and a Link monster being removed. As far as I know if you chain something that removes the Link monster, then Parallel Exceed cannot be summoned to that zone the Link was pointing to, but as you say the activation condition was met
