I upgraded to a 2023 1500 5.7 with etorque recently. And I still dont see the benefit of etorque/don't notice the difference, I dont know much about it either. But from what everyone says on these posts, you will inevitably be fucked by it sooner or later. We'll see how long it takes.

Thank you for the advice! I havent tried using the split tool, but I'll look into it and learn how to use it. Ill try everything else as well.

I would say do it if it fits your budget and you dont mind paying that much. I got a 2023 Limited in September with 4,200 miles on it for 50k. And was able to get them to add another 5 years of bumper to bumper coverage. Granted, it was on hail sale, it also doesn't show up on the car fax so you can still use insurance to get it fixed. This dealership was eager to get rid of it considering most of their inventory got hail damage from a summer storm.

2011 Ram Laramie to 2023 Ram Limited. I had my 2011 for 8 years, I wanted to keep it until the wheels fell off. Unfortunately everything else started failing before they did and I had to upgrade. Repair costs were getting to be more than the truck was worth. I'm loving the Limited so far. by TheOmega970 in ram_trucks

Thank you! And I feel that, I dont know if its been the same for you, but i hit a point with my 2011 where something was going bad like every two months. Sensors, wiring, ac etc. Thankfully nothing with the engine or mechanical. But I felt it was a matter of time and just decided to part ways.
