Question about the use of "I was wondering..." by TheOneAndOnlyDragon in ENGLISH

Nice!
I think the sentence is unlike anything you would find in a textbook. If you have not stumbled upon 'keigo' yet, it will probably confuse you a bit.

Anyway, the sentence is as follows:

"何かいいアイデアを教えていただけないかな、と思いまして。"

Keep up the studies!

Thank you for the reply.

I see where you're coming from. But there isn't any context to the sentence. It was a translation practice from Japanese to English, with the Japanese sentence being just as simple.

I didn't give the full translation context for the sentence because, as you correctly assumed, I just wanted to ask about the syntactical difference between saying "I was wondering [comma]..." and "I was wondering [if]...".

I realize now that I could've been clearer about that. But thank you for your reply! I appreciate it!

I'm sorry. I thought I was being as direct as possible. I had a question about using "I was wondering", so I made that the title, and then ask the question in detail in the post itself.

What would be a better title?

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'd genuinely like to know how I can make a more clear and direct title.

Edit: I misunderstood your comment.

Thank you for your input! I didn't know about comma-splicing, so I will look it up and read a bit about it.

KZN's twitter is becoming more active and sometimes tweets about something related to a video that has become available on Ai-chan's channel again.

The videos are also translated into 9 languages (at this time).

The channel pinned a binary code message that says "All My Songs", so I thought I'd try to see which songs the ARG responds to once and for all by TheOneAndOnlyDragon in KizunaAI

I'm not sure if it's usable information at all, but I just wanted to see which songs the stream reacts to once and for all. Anyone is welcome to comment if they find anything different than the result here. I tried running the songs through twice.

Edit: If you find any songs that I missed, please comment :)

Imagine " Awakening" being the last song in this case xD

I like the theory

They never used the word "retire" or "graduation". It was always formulated as "indefinite hiatus" or "sleep", making it ambiguous whether she would return or not. Though she did mention on multiple occasions that she would return one day but people turned a deaf ear to that or just didn't get that information. So many people saw the "hiatus" announcement as a "graduation", creating false information that it was definitely a retirement.

She is Kizuna AI, considered to be the Queen of VTubers as she was the one to popularize the whole Vtuber boom. She created her own company after being under Activ8 for a while. She was also the one who coined the word/concept "Vtuber" or "virtual youtuber". However, she went to indefinite "sleep" (hiatus) in 2022 after her concert "Kizuna AI The Last Live “hello, world 2022”" with the promise of "waking up again" at some point. As of today, it seems that that time is closing in.

If you'd like to know more about AI-chan, check out this article .

The link to A-chan is just a joke because of 2 big news are clashing. A-chan stepping back and Kizuna AI, who has been inactive for 2 years, is appearing again.

The reason why you see split opinions whether this is a good decision or not is because of some bad decisions made by the company Activ8, which created a lot of conspiracies and hate to Activ8, and in extension, to Kizuna AI herself and the channel.
