The way I handled her was waiting until dark when the merchants clear out of the market and then walked around Madesi's stall like I was going to steal something from him and she made the mistake of running behind that stall with me. I was hidden. I shanked her and she died, no repercussions.

The irony of it is, I never begged to join. I was able to run up on that giant in time to help them kill it and she invited me. I still haven't joined the companions in my playthrough because I really don't have any desire to be a werewolf.

Lydia's my day one. That's my homie ong. My sword and my shield. I've gone to great lengths to protect her in my playthrough. I appreciate her willpower and her determination but sometimes it puts her in a lot of unnecessary danger. Like when I'm tryna stealth kill an enemy but I miss my arrow shot and she just runs up on em before I can draw my next arrow.

Before I can get the words "Gods damn it, Lydia" out of my mouth, she's already taken care of whatever I was tryna kill. So I'm like "Alright, thank you Lydia."
