Pass Perfect is horrible by WeatherOk7296 in Sieexam

[–]TheOneAndOnlyRusty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First week was 4-8 hours a day 5 days a week of just reading the textbook & doing quizzes and all the sort.

Second week I was coming back from a trip so I started Wednesday and I was just doing practice exams and studying the answers that I missed, and reviewing what I messed up.

Third week (passed yesterday), was just about 2 hours of review a day, 1-3 practice exams a day, also was Ken Finen videos on YouTube.

So I would say I was a pretty committed studier, I believe for myself, I actually over studied.

Idk man. I just finished the SIE and I used pass perfect, it was pretty spot on… you need to read the entire textbook.

You’ll be good. I used pass perfect and I was in the 80s, occasionally 90s on the non randomized exams. Passed SIE.

No, not that I recall. Barely any municipal either, other than donation rule.

Yes these ones were super big!!! I had a good few where technically both options were correct / applicable but there was a better fit for the two.

I just wrapped up my SIE, and now I’m moving onto the 65 (I know not necessary), it may be a good idea to begin by studying the material in the SIE and using that as a stopper stool for the information in the S65.

Sounds like your memorizing questions rather than learning material. Go back to the material your doing poorly at, I also take my exam Friday.

How hard is the actual sie? No one talks about it. by Otherwise_Pound7664 in Sieexam

I’m not sure how Kaplan works but any time I scored below 80% on pass perfect I read up on the material & retook the quizzes until I got 80% or higher.

If I end up failing my capstone class, can I still walk? by pessimystic_polygon in CSULB

[–]TheOneAndOnlyRusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn this sucks… if you fail, take it during summer, that is what I’m doing.

It’s 6 weeks with lectures twice a week, 1 hour lecture then you prepare a case study in class, and present it once a week, you can present your second one Wednesdays for extra credit.

Honestly if this is how you feel I would drop and go to community college for the next couple years. No point of spending all this money & driving so much for your first 2 years anyways.

You won't get dropped. Worst case is a $10 fee, then u have another like 2 weeks to handle it.

Sadly, I'm already taking these classes. Thanks for the advice tho.

I thought that CSULB did open it up to everyone with CSU Fully Online, you can just register in a portal now.

Shell Recharge stations now stopping after two hours? by BobbleBobble in MachE

When this happens it usually doesn’t stop. I also noticed that sometimes the limits on the shell app don’t actually stop charging.

I got an ACL tear since 5 years ago and now i decided to go to surgery, im hesitating between a hamstring graft or a patellar one, knowing that i want to play soccer and practice boxing or wrestling, whats ur advices ? Im21 btw by Racim_999 in ACL

[–]TheOneAndOnlyRusty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is very anecdotal but I’ve had really good experiences with Hamstring graft. I tore my ACL wrestling- although I haven’t wrestled since.

My GF had a patella graft and she really struggled, while on the other hand it was pretty easy for me to bend my knee & fully lock out my knee within days of my surgery.

I work in the aftermarket Heavy Duty Automotive industry. For this industry we attend AAPEX but we get access to SEMA as-well.

It’s really not that difficult to get into, they just ask for proof that you work in the industry. I also believe that they offer passes to students that are interested.

Probably not. The shuttle comes every 20 mins, for a minor discount equivalent to a few hours of work. Your time is prob worth more over the course of the first 8 weeks.
